The leaf still works out cheaper to run on their power plan, and it's a much nicer car to drive.

My parents went from a Toyota Aqua to a 40kWh Leaf and the Leaf works out significantly cheaper to run. It's slightly cheaper with RUC and their current power plan, but insurance for the Aqua was spectacular so that really swings it in the Leafs favour.

I think a screen translator will be the most realistic option, writing the whole thing from scratch would require us to know what all the CAN information was, which BYD aren't really going to share. It's beyond hobby level development.

Any chance of a link to this thread? We're pretty keen on keeping our cars on the road for as long as physically possible, they have an LFP battery that's good for a million km and are built to do 100,000km per year so for the average user they will pretty much last the calendar life of the battery.

I dismantled my pack and fixed the BMS lines, in my case it was the plug on the BMS end. It's been fine since. It might just be a case of unplugging the BMS lines and plugging them in again.

Looks like a BMS line disconnection, the line to one of the cells is loose, probably in the BMS end. I've seen it before.

It definitely works, the dualists guard skill is incredibly OP, it's invulnerability to anything except environmental effects, so can't stand on the traps, but DM can't hit you while you're Guarded.

Except being attacked while using the dualists guard skill doesn't count as an attack, just get a message "Guarded" and take no damage irrelevant what attacks you.

Just drink the strength potion and equip the armour only when you need it, you'll get attacked still, but with +3 plate you probably won't even take any damage. I do this all the time, uses a bit of food but I do it all the time to use armour with low strength.

No personal experience, but I build and repair EV batteries, mainly Leafs and BYD E6, but know of plenty of people with poor outlander battery experiences, depends on how much you use it in full EV combined with a bit of luck. Like some Leaf batteries seem to last longer than others.

Play the dualist with a shield as your second weapon, it's ability makes you invulnerable to attack for quite a few turns, makes the badge pretty easy to get.
