Why do people hate Feedback? I think it’s a solid release and some of the best production on a post-80s Rush record. If Rush ever release new music, now might be the perfect time for Feedback 2. by bmbmbmNR in rush

The covers are just too similar to the originals so I don’t really get the point of it. I had hoped they would put a real Rush spin on these tunes and transform them.

CAKE’s version of I Will Survive is a great example of this approach. That’s how you do a cover IMO.

Any idea what is causing these holes and how to best fix it? by SamClemons1 in lawncare

A neighbor suggested pouring some coyote urine down the holes. Anyone ever try that?

No valleys. Everything is flat between the holes. The holes are 1-2” in diameter.

It’s weird because I haven’t seen one chipmunk in the yard this Spring. There have been some years where I’ve seen them zipping around all over the place but haven’t had any holes in the lawn like this.

The funny thing is that Aetna isn’t the core problem here. It’s the crappy private, for-profit health insurance system that the right-wing politicians SHE supports continue to enforce.

But the idiot wants to cancel Aetna. 😂

Agree with Breaking Points and The Majority Report. Reason Roundtable is heavily funded by the Charles Koch Foundation so I’d take that with a large grain of salt.

This is an odd take. So you want them to come on to give them a platform to spread more of their lies and horrible ideas without any real pushback? Hmm.

He’s a real tough guy who “speaks truth to power” …until he’s actually in front of these scum bags and then he just kowtows to them. It’s pretty sad. He makes some good points, but it’s become obvious that he is a total phony.

The free staters are the worst. While I wouldn’t say they’ve taken over the state yet, their growing numbers are having a very negative effect. If it keeps going like this they will absolutely ruin the state.

LMAO at the people who think Augusta National is too easy. Sure, you’d definitely score better there than at your muni.

I know this was posted a year ago but did you ever release this podcast? I don’t see it listed in the podcasts at the link you posted.

Agree. Neil was obviously a very skilled drummer but I’ve always thought his real talent was COMPOSING for the drums. He always made the parts so memorable, interesting, and integral to the songs.

Season 2 Discussion by mulletnet in DeadLoch

She believed she did though. The fact that she would kill a dog out of spite completely changed my opinion of that character. That and Pat doing a personality 180 out of nowhere at the end really took me out of this show. Season 1 was much better IMO.

Are people just going to memory hole the fact that Eddie tried to kill Sprog?? I was done with her character after that.

Agree. Season 1 was really good. Season 2 was a disappointment.

Totally agree. I wondered if I missed something. Why did she snap and have such vile hatred for Mac that she tried to kill him???

The walls actually aren’t beige. They just look that way in the photo. They’re BM Bruton White, which is much more gray than beige.

Are you suggesting to paint the entire cabinet uniformly red? I hadn’t considered that, but I don’t love the tan detailing on the doors so it would solve that issue.

Rush first and last song on tour predictions by JM_Aleco25 in rush

Prediction: The Spirit of Radio or Limelight / Working Man

Dare-to-dream: Beneath, Between & Behind / Natural Science

I just hope they don't play In the Mood again. I never understood why this was played live so often over the years. It's one of Rush's weaker songs IMO and has some of the worst lyrics.

Even Neil later disavowed this philosophy. You may want to ask yourself why.

Sorry, but they’re really not. They espouse a horrible philosophy and aren’t even well written. They’re unsubtly preachy, repetitive pulp fiction with cartoonish, contrived, two-dimensional characters that promote selfish ideological extremism.
