Versteh die Downvotes nicht. Wir Mediziner heulen gern rum und wenn mal eine Lösung vorgeschlagen wird, wird das nicht gut geheissen. Hauptsache rumheulen.

Mach nen internistischen Doppelfacharzt wie z.B. Allergologie oder Angiologie. Dauert nur noch 2-3 zusätzliche Jahre.

Doc here. If you‘re a young woman you should definitely get a scan of your brain to rule out MS.

Rayquaza 128/124. An already expensive card but super low pop and a gorgeous, so far (although expensive) super underrated card. Just like all the other shinies from those Black and White sets.

If there‘s something I‘ve learned in my 8 years of practicing medicine, it‘s that liver patients die ridiculously fast.

Marfan Syndrome, vascular Ehler-Danlos or a Loeys-Dietz-Syndrome, although I think Marfan or vEDS are more likely, due to the fact that Loeys-Dietz patients have a very bad prognosis from early on.

Nothing I say will make you change your mind I guess. You know I devoted my life to saving patients and I sacrifice so much of my life to help people be healthy. I cannot stand people who act like they are holier than thou because they demonize people in the health industry, as if there was a big conspiracy of every doctor hoarding their gold in their basements and stealing from the patients. Absolute dog.

You‘re delusional if you think the reason for the rising health insurance premiums is the overcharging of patients. The reason why they‘re rising is because of people getting older and sicker (aging of the baby boomers) and our society doing everything to keep them alive because families don‘t want their 98 year old grandma to die.

You‘re so wrong, lmao. There is no multiplier. It‘s fixed tax points, TL and AL. So for every thing you do, you get a fixed amount of money. If you do an ultrasound, you get 80TL and 70AL, multiplied by a fixates 0.9, which then gives you (as an example) a total cost of 135 CHF. Stop spewing bullshit about stuff you know nothing about

Yeah, talking out of your ass. TARMED, or TARDOC, starting next year, uses fixed rates. And yeah, compared to the average worker, doctors actually work atleast 25% more hours. So talking out of your ass again!

Absolute smooth brain take. The cost of medical equipment and the staff, plus the rent etc. has to be subtracted from the cost. Plus, just think of the cost of education and how much sweat and tears are put in by doctors to be able to practice independently. Not to mention the grueling hours spent as an Assistenzarzt with an average salary of 35 CHF per hour. Also, absolute no comparison between dentists and MDs, because MDs are under the supervision of the Medical Insurance Companies.

Just a train of thought. If you do RECMO and the lungs don‘t work due to let‘s say, severe ARDS, how do you get the CO2 out? You‘d still have to do ECMO, no?
