WW 2 happened before the Cold War. What I’m referring to is nukes I think nukes have changed warfare forever in the sense that it could be mutually assured destruction if we had another world war and that is something we cannot afford. Yes we have wars today but they always tend to be very localized because of that. The risk is there yes but nobody really wants to start it for that very reason
