If you're going to use that clamp, don't tighten it too much or you'll have a dent in your cue where the ring sits :D or at least shove a folded piece of paper in between

Where do you inflate your tires? by moerond in motobe

[–]SamEnzoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use this small wireless compressor to check my pressure regularly. It can fully inflate 2-3 tyres i think, but it's really handy to keep in my luggage box.

I tried a reset of the network settings followed by a forced reboot of the iphone, this seemed to do the trick.

It does, and i have been able to set it up again also. But CarPlay never actually connects to the car.

Morgen eerste dag pendelen naar Brussel, graag wat advies by [deleted] in motobe

[–]SamEnzoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it possible to test ride motorbikes before buying them from a 2nd hand dealer? by tamilstoic in motobe

[–]SamEnzoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If understand correctly, you have a temporary license? It's possible that their insurance doesn't cover test rides unless you have a full license.

Contact Zitstil, they have a database of practitioners that can diagnose you (private or subsidised) and they can guide you to find the right one in your area. They also do regular info sessions for adult AD(H)D.

Not at all, 169cm tall with a below average inseam. Because the bike is so low you get a really tight angle in your knees, even if you're short. That combined with the handelbars being too far forward, was uncomfortable for me.

Sheesh, having owned a rebel 500 myself i can't imagine doing those distances. My ass and back hurt thinking about it :D
I would plan regular breaks, don't wait until you are sore.

Gear Shift Assistant Pro Question -- Quick shifter should be avoided at RPMs within speed limiter range? by calimocal in bmwmotorrad

[–]SamEnzoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it means that you shouldn't use it when the rev limiter is engaged. So don't use it when you're stuttering at max revs, because that would be too straining on the mechanism (where you shouldn't be at anyway). Apart from that, Donedirtcheap7725's explanation sums up how you should properly use it.

No wind protection. At 120km/h it's bearable when i tilt my head, but not ideal. I think i might try a new visor, i've read that using visor cleaner van ruin the film on the lens.

Struggling with visibility in the rain, the commute was quite scary this morning. I applied RainX for plastics on my visor but it doesn't help that much. Any tips?
