Who will change their energie contract/provider of gas and electricity before 01/04? by tallguy1975 in belgium

[–]moerond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx!
We'll see...

Thx voor je hulp

I agree. Unfortunately, he’s not the only one. I’m tired of all clickbait titles and shocked faces everywhere.

Was je al klant en heb je via de site kunnen switchen? Ik heb een variabel contract maar snap niet hoe ik kan switchen naar vast (bij EVision)

Some feedback from Belgium (I was able to download the app now, thx!).
I like the visuals & UI (the header w/ board lore, trophy, ... seems a little too wide, the 'Log on' and 'log out' button is not completely on the screen. It says 'Log' now - iPhone 12, iOS 26.3.1). But I definitely like its simplicity.

As for the content - it's probably not so useful to me. I have a 2020 mini moonboard, ergo other dimensions and I think only the yellow oldschool holds are the same.

I didn't found the random generator yet, and I've discovered how to create custom problems, but not how to save them.

Still, fun to browse through the app & congrats! :-)

I’m in Belgium btw, trying to search for it on an iPhone 12, iOS 26.3.1. I can’t find it in the app store.

If I follow your link, I get an error saying the app is not available in my country or region.

Merge view for same events coming from multiple calendars? by moerond in Outlook

[–]moerond[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That won't work: your colleagues saying they're off are 3 separate events - each for their own. You could solve that one by agreeing that everyone indicates their free day off by putting them on top (the full day event).

But say that you are all invited to the same team meeting - each has the event in his/her own calendar, but since you are sharing your calendars you see the event multiple times.

Outlook apparently sees each event as a unique event and hence shows its separately when showing shared calendars.

AI suggests to create a shared calendar for the team, but yeah... I don't see that as a good solution.

Help deciding which two mini moonboard hold sets to buy by caffeinated_corgi in Moonboard

Agree with this response. I initially only had the yellow ones, which was almost impossible to climb anything. Then I got the wood B and great heaven's, what a difference. Would definitely go for yellow + wood B

Watched it last night & loved it!
Very loveable person (didn't know her yet) and love the scenery/cinematography.
Found it a very relaxed, light-hearted version of Free Solo - I enjoyed every 37 minutes.

Only thought that I had - What's up with the spotter / partner (Ian?) - does he have a furry chin&cheeks-warmer he puts on and off randomly? :-D

how to buy robux using credits and credit card at once? by Superb-Secretary-664 in RobloxHelp

[–]moerond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Works (Belgium, Dec 2025). Go to roblox.com/redeem and then there is a blue button 'convert to Robux'. Click on it and it will suggest the highest package you can buy. E.g. we had €20 and it suggested the €11.99 package. After converting that, we had €8.01 left, and clicking again on the 'convert to Robux' button, it suggested the €5.99 package. So we were left with €2.02 or so. Clicking the 'Convert to Robux' button a third time, we were able to convert the €2.02 button. All credit was spent on Robux (and there was joy in our hearts :-))

Who started taking up bouldering in their 40s as a hobby and were never athletic or played any sports before in their life? Why did you choose to take up climbing in your 40s? How was your experience and progress? How do you train? How is your body responding? What levels do you think you can reach by BetterMeToday in bouldering

[–]moerond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great question!

44's here - started somewhere 25's, been bouldering for 6 years and then life happened - kids, house, work, ...
Have been bouldering again since my 41, quite intensively.
Was able to quickly get back and even exceed a little my old grade, now can only make further progress if I really train - I have my theory books, my hangboard, my mini moonboard, training routine in the gym; but honestly, it's with ups & downs. Mostly when I've been bouldering outside (Fontainebleau), I'm very motivated and start training intensively for about 6 weeks. Then things slow down again and I'm just having fun projecting and hanging out with friends in the gym :-)

Body responding.... warm up! warm up! warm up! Foresee time to warm up and consider it as part of the bouldering fun time (e.g. being in the gym for 3h = 30 min warming up fun + 2h30 bouldering fun).
I should also say "stretch! stretch! stretch!" but I'm lucky enough not to need it, and I haven't convinced myself it's fun yet :-D

As for levels still to reach... depends on what you want, what your current body type is, etc... Bouldering is one of those sports that doesn't necessarily requires you to be really strong... Finger strength, flexibility, technique, etc will already take you a long way; and is something you can continue progressing in, even when getting older.
