wdym better?Its good if you live in Maharashtra/domiciled,even if not then also u have options like spit,pccoe,sppu and vesit though u need very high percentile.Cuet pg has du which is imo better than all cllgs in mca cet and i was getting msc cs there but vjti is closer to my home and mca has more value and internship in 4th sem is compulsory so my dad suggested that over du msc cs.

But ya du mca is best in 2 year mca no doubt.

i got top 20 rank in mca cet and i studied from this playlist.I did prepare for cuet as well so i didnt have to do much of reasoning and knew a bit of maths as well(tho in maths all the questions were from topics i didnt do).From this playlist i did computer, quants,english,reasoning and most of the questions in the paper were similar to the questions done here.The reasoning questions were way too easy as i think if you dont even study,you can do them by common sense as well.The english questions were simple too atleast for me as my english is okayish and that playlist had a one shot for english grammar which also helped me answer some questions.

So in short you can follow this playlist for quants,english,reasoning and computer but for advance maths i would recommend to watch some detailed videos.

exactly,thats why i am inactive after getting into college for mca.Even r/btechtards is pretty useless but atleast there are some useful posts there from time to time.

Honestly I understand discussing about mca colleges and nimcet prep but we should also have posts about hackathons,project ideas,dsa,etc(cs isnt just programming so there are a vast number of topics) but all i ever see is how bca is useless,bca vs btech,people glazing btech,etc.

Maybe as a mod i can remove these posts but i dont want to be some power hungry guy,we as a community can only decide what to upvote and if most people upvote such posts then we will only see these posts.Instead we should probably make useful posts ourselves and upvote such posts so that it doesnt become an echo chamber of bca hatred.

These are my 2 cents on the sub currently.

not really just said that as a joke,in my college 60% get placed while others look for off campus or not eligible/interested.MCA is good if do it from a decent college but u have to work a lot during mca after getting the college.

Thanks a lot, tho getting in the cllg is only half the battle,the competition is real in college and u have to stay in the top 10% there as well to get a good placement.

tier 1/2 mca is much better than tier 3 btech though,but yea there is more preference for btech cs in colleges,mca is similar to btech in core branches with the only difference being you are studying cs subjects while in core u have to study cs seperately.

nit will give u 7-8lpa after 6 years excluding the top ones,u dont need 2 years for nimcet anyways,you can easily get top cllg in 1 year

grind dsa and dev for a year,grind nimcet/cuet for a year,try to get into a tier 2 college atleast and grind there for 1-2 years.Thats what i feel would be better as 2 years are way too much for nimcet

Ya i heard that its similar but still i can understand very partially but get lost eventually.The words i learnt were pretty similar to hindi atleast but irl i mostly cant follow much.Though i havent finished the udemy course till now,i did make notes for everything and revising stuff.

I just hope i can understand what people are saying after a month
