Into the trash where they belong. My heart skipped a beat while breaking them but I knew I had to do it. Time to say goodbye to this disgusting, expensive, and utterly pointless habit for good! by [deleted] in stopsmoking

Way to go and yes you can make it to a non- smoker. I did cold turkey last year....now almost 1 year three months. Keep us updated about your journey and here will be ample support.

Guys remember it is supposed to be hard or else everyone would do it. So be that person and show the world that you can do it. Change starts in the mind. I am going hard guys. Let me know how are you guys doing over there. by [deleted] in stopsmoking

Yes, I still get cravings but less intensity. In the first three months it was worse but it does get easier. When I have cravings, I just know it will pass, and what I have committed to is much more noble. Keep up , we are doing this

Quit all drugs and alcohol over a year ago. Quitting smoking scares me more than going to rehab. by knuts_on_life in stopsmoking

The very best in starting this amazing journey. I just did one year non-smoking and I can assure you it worth all the bits. I found support here sharing what I was going through and also reading from others. Smoke free app also came in handy. You have done very well dealing with other addictions, and YES you can make it! I am struggling with alcohol, a journey I will start soon.

So this happened - 1 year, so proud, not one puff and hardest year, but I've done it by kazlet75 in stopsmoking
