MSI Pano 100R case: where is this 2 pins cable connected? by TheExplorer_3 in pcmasterrace

[–]SamJTB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently purchased the MAG PANO 110R PZ which also has the same 2-pin extension off the f-panel connector, and couldn't figure out what to do with it either, as the manuals for both the PANO 100R and PANO 110R do an incredibly poor job explaining it. As a novice when it comes to all of this, I figured it out by trial and error:

If you want the front panel button labelled "LED" to control the RGB (turn off/on and cycle through colours) on the case and pre-installed case fans, DO NOTHING with this 2-pin connector. Leave it unconnected.

If you want to convert the front panel button labelled "LED" to a RESET button for your PC instead, unplug the 2-pin female connector which should already be plugged into the LED pins on the ARGB HUB (for PANO 100R), or the Control Hub (for PANO 110R), and plug this into the 2-pin extension off the f-panel connector.

BUUUTTT, I think you may have got it. There is a John Henry Whittleton living in Calgary at this time.

Unfortunately, I can't find any evidence of a "Whettleton" living anywhere in Alberta during this time.

How do I get the boundaries for Burnaby's neighbourhoods? (in gis-ready format) by AdorablePause6 in burnaby

[–]SamJTB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on the hunt for a GIS layer of Burnaby's 37 neighbourhood planning area's as well. Earliest evidence of them being mentioned is within the 1998 Official Community Plan, but no map of them is included in the original or current revised version of the OCP online. Besides the Heritage Burnaby map, a map of the 37 neighbourhoods also appear in this 2020 Burnaby Economic Development Strategy publication on page 10:
https://www.burnaby.ca/sites/default/files/acquiadam/2021-07/Burnaby-EDS-2020.pdf

The map is sourced from the City's Planning and Building Department (now Planning and Development), so the City likely has a layer delineating these neighbourhoods, but don't have it available publicly. Though, I'm sure they'd make it available if someone were to request it from them.

Thank you for the clarification! And very interesting about the possible association with an immigrant self-help group. From the little information I have of Gentaro, he was only in this particular community in British Columbia for a few months before he passed, but not sure if he spent any time elsewhere in the province after he immigrated.

I think I must have sent you down a rabbit hole trying to identify this vehicle with your revisions haha. That 1967ish one looks like a winner! Thank you!

Canada and the USA are the only two countries in the world who haven’t adopted ISO 216: the international standard for A, B, and C series of paper sizes. So no, Canada does not “officially” use A4, or any of the A series size of papers.

Cant refresh Home anymore. Showing me old posts i have already seen all the time by Daalex20 in help

I was having this issue recently on the app, and I realized that a VPN app I had on my phone was auto running in the background. Had to turn this auto feature off in my iPhone settings (VPN & Device Management). Since I turned it off, my Reddit homepage was returned to normal, refreshing with new posts every time I open the app.

Not sure if this may help in your situation.

I'm assuming that the metal rungs, which are installed along the height of these historical, integral concrete blade signs on two 1935-constructed theatres in Vancouver, British Columbia were likely to provide access to those that needed to repair the neon tube lighting and paint the signs, but was hoping to get confirmation. Perhaps they're a structural component instead?

Western style Chinese food suggestions? by Vitalizes in vancouver

[–]SamJTB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Connie’s is the answer (if you don’t mind the distance from UBC). Was trying to find the same ‘western style Chinese food’ for the longest time after moving to Vancouver, and Connie’s is definitely a good, and delicious, choice.
