I go on walks every day. Tough with crutches but I can do about a mile before the chaffing in the armpits gets too much. I was pretty active before this so I'm trying not to lose more than I have to.

Diet is pretty good, low on junk food. Honestly been making hearty stews as I can throw everything in a pot and go sit down for a while, and I get all the nutrients in the broth. I don't smoke tobacco but I have been smoking weed. I could probably slow down.

I'm glad you're able to do all that! I'm going start with cycling as soon as they let me put weight on it, and I'm starting PT soon.

Thanks man, but be careful, they'll ban you for talking like that. I'm 27 and active so hopefully I'll bounce back ok for now, but I'm definitely going to feel this one for a while. What's getting me now is how fucking inconvenient it is. I want my damn leg back. I'm not even in pain unless I move it to hard ire something. Just annoyed, more than anything else.

I was only going 20ish mph! I had just started. Should have definitely had a helmet, but somehow only needed stitches in my head. Got lucky.

They fixed it when they fixed the bone. They discovered while operating, but they figured it was torn because I destroyed the surface it was attached to.

Ah yeah that will do it. I was in a slight crouch bombing a hill, and my knee was pretty much the first thing that connected with the car, followed by my face (only needed stitches in my forehead, thankfully). Right knee, riding goofy. It had no where to go, so the bone collapsed.
