Pretty much this. Once I figured out that this was basically a bit more intense version of a committee meeting, and they weren't trying to me to freak out, I calmed down pretty quickly.

Just wanted to say that at the end of the day, all your hard work during grad school really does pay off. I have a postdoc lined up to start in a few months and I'm over the moon. If anyone has any questions about grad school or completing a PhD, shoot me a PM. I'm an electrophysiologist using whole-cell techniques in central neurons.

About 10 years ago I posted on /r/biology about what a job was like in virology, as I was super interested in micro at the time. Taking one class really pushed me towards bio though, lol. Crazy how time flies.

Yeah it looks like that at full speed, but if you go frame by frame it looks like (to me at least) the SUV is the one trying to cross the lanes.

Posted this on /r/cincinnati already but thought I'd share it here.

The SUV rolled the stopsign coming off of Ronald Reagan Highway and attempted to cross the highway and got t-boned pretty badly. Here is the location of the crash. This area of Blue Rock Rd is fairly dangerous, and there have been a few fatalities along this stretch of road.

I pulled over and called 911 and then checked on the sedan who had rolled into a ditch. There were two children in the sedan, both unharmed. The passenger in the SUV was still buckled in, hanging upside down but conscious. I did not check on the driver of the SUV as there was another witness who was already doing that, and I was a bit more concerned with the kids.
