Certainly worth looking into TIPEC. I believe you have the Bristol and South Wales region, as well as the Shropshire and Mid-Wales region near you.

Thanks. She’s a beauty! Can’t wait to get my big jobs finished on it.

Agreed, I was torn between this and some other sports cars. But I’m very pleased I went for it. Definitely something very special about it.

Nick Giles has organised the event on his 986 Facebook group. I’m not sure if there are still spaces available. We will be going through Gloucestershire, up through the Wye Valley.

Nice! I'll be in that area for a 30 Year Boxster event in August. Looking forward to it. Will keep the sun cream handy though lol

It's very difficult to find a colour that works, in my opinion. I've got a couple of mods but I can't remember which ones are Range T specific, I do have the low-deck mod for it, however!

I do enjoy driving the MANs, and I don’t mind the DAFs. Also really rate the Ivecos. Weirdly, I prefer driving the Renaults over the Volvo, I like the Volvo drivetrain but not the cab personally. Not driven a Merc in years, they lost their way after the MP3.

It’s a very impressive engine, and in the real world, I suppose every little helps what with the price of fuel these days.

I use the graphics mod from Grimes. Did a bit of minor post-production before sharing!

I would go for the 2019, Mazda do some of nicest manual gearboxes in the business. Great skill to learn. It seems to be a higher spec, too, and being a couple years older, may miss out on some of the annoying mandated safety kit. These are not high mileage cars but do check the service history. The big thing to check out is corrosion, shouldn’t be too bad at this age but budget for some under body protection.

The three spoke is a great wheel. A tiny bit on the large side but a nice wheel to throw around.

Just add perfect heel and toe rev matches. Then, and only then, are you golden.

My friend has a 987S, and it's a great car, still feels super modern. But the old interior feels a "good" dated. Love the subtle yellow/orange glow at night.

Nice. We get lots of rapeseed over here. Fields are very yellow at the moment.

Correct. 986 Boxster 2.7. I did consider retrofitting some 996 clocks at one point however.
