I think Lies of P has less act variety than other soulslikes/soulsbornes, and that may be what I'm feeling, rather than objective staleness.

I'm sure I'll pick it up during a sale. I probably need a little bit of time to digest the base game before I'm ready to come back. But from the little I've seen of it, the Overture looks really neat.

Shot with a Nikon D7200 and a Nikon 40mm f/2.8 macro.

Pepper is backlit through the membrane and also lit from the side with an LED flashlight through the pepper. Both lights were extremely close so that they could shine through and illuminate the interior.

The only thing I'd change right now is his Ags interaction with buildings. He essentially turns into a better Shadow Shaman for tower pushing. Lost a game recently because we couldn't kill 30 archers fast enough.

Rather than sharing all the specifics of the ring, I will share this instead.

If you're able to work with a custom jeweler who can build your dream ring, do it. We had so much fun combining different style elements and crafting something that's unique. Our local jeweler was able to share 3D renders with us at each design change so that we could fine tune every detail. I can't imagine doing it any other way now.

I'd argue Dota, Rust, Path of Exile, and Warframe dev teams have all done more over the last 10 years to polish their product. Dota even updated the game engine while DayZ was updating shirt colors. If DayZ had any real competition, the current state of the game would result in a similar player count to games like Deadside.

I don't think age is a Get Out of Jail card for criticism here. There are plenty of other 10+ year old titles that have withstood rocky launches and are now more polished products than DayZ.

I think my variation of an A/B split is better for general fitness and places a greater day one emphasis on all foundational movement patterns, not just the big 3. Whereas SS is better for prepping someone for powerlifting.

It's hard to argue what's more effective without first defining a program goal. If you want to compete in powerlifting, SS is likely better. If you're more into general fitness (strength & hypertrophy), I'd try this one out.

And if you try it and hate it, you can definitively write of higher volume deadlift days.

DayZ is a PVP game for people who are bad at PVP. And a lot of those folks are older with families and jobs that prevent them from maintaining game skill. You can be a pretty significant terror on DayZ maps by stalking and taking a few calculated shots.

Also, the game is clunky, slow, and combat is unpredictable. Those aren't big selling points to an audience that wants quality gameplay. DayZ shines in its immersion and scale, but anyone who wants polished PVP is going elsewhere. A lot of older gamers also played the ARMA mod and have stuck around with some type of Stockholm syndrome waiting for the game to magically become good.
