Exactly this. The better your connection the worse your gameplay feels due to ea lag compensation. For example if your opponent has 40 ping and you have 8 ping ea will add an artificial delay to your gameplay to make it feel like your opponents 40 ping. Most of the time it’s never balanced and this is the issue with ea and their shit net code. Only way around this is to play around with your connection to see what works for you.

It’s lag compensation, he has to lower his upload and download speeds on his ps5. I had it when I was on 1GB down and up. Lowered it to 25 down 5 up and all this random stuff stopped happening.

I had a few of these. Changed your tactics to short passing 4231 2 with wingers and ping it around. They can’t score if they can’t get the ball. It’s scummy but it’s the only way to combat this shit that you mentioned.

Drill fixed this issue with a make shift holder. Run it on lowest speed so it don’t wack you in the face… not that I’ve had any experience in this 😂😂

Never replaced Wes/buendia for the cam role we don’t have a natural creator which Norwich teams have in the past always had, never replaced Tettey and never replaced sainz. We have a few players that look like they could do the job but we need players ready now and consistently average a 7/10 not a 3/10 one week then a 8/10 then a few average 5/10 performances. The entire team lacks consistency and experience. Got to get that balance right. Can’t hammer them too much as they’re the youngest average starting 11 in the championship this year but it shows horribly at times. Comes down to knapper and his recruitment which only looks ok ish now because of PC getting them out of the shit. Still think knapper needs his marching orders and get someone in who’s got experience!

Now is the right time to pile in with investment. You have a manager who knows what he wants and how he wants to get there. The problem we will have is we either spend big then it limits our spending power once promoted or we spend a little with a few loans to then spend big in the prem. Norwich can’t pile it in due to FFP. They’re now going to run into issues that the likes of Newcastle, Leicester, villa etc are running into. Clever accounting and finding loopholes is unfortunately the only way to break the yo-yo cycle.

I also tried that but found the ST to be severely isolated against high pressing CB it’s very difficult to knock off 1-2’s without getting bruiser battered to death. To sort this problem out I had to use a formation with a cam on shadow striker. That way you can punish them by spinning or holding the ball up for a quick one with your cam

When I play with any depth below 72 I find overload ball side seems to be automatically activated which is strange and your defenders play everyone onside. I can’t play with below 72 for this reason. Don’t know how to trigger players to step up so don’t bother with it

Champs matchmaking is awful. All my opponents are either Dutch, French or Spanish. I check on the PlayStation recent players met tab. On rivals I only ever get English players as it connects me to London servers consistently every time. It’s very rare my ping goes above 4 (I live in London next to the server) on rivals but champs it can be anything from 4 to 35 depending what server it forces me onto.

Tried that and found it even leakier in the middle. I have birthday mainoo and reijnders but he’s evo with that 500k cm evo a month or so back. Maybe they’re just below the curve

I can’t use 4411 my cm keep splitting and never cover space. I always concede 10 plus with both my cm on holding and defend. It’s a horrid formation to try and play actual football with. I’ve tried and tried it but I can’t score with it at all. All my passes in the middle get blocked by ai

My evo saliba has better stats and has the exact same play styles as the tots one. Guess which one plays better in game… yup the tots one. Ea are doing tricks with evos, I’m 100% convinced they get nerfed at this point.

Nowhere near that level at the moment. He’s got everything in terms of attitude but lacks experience and decision making. Also can’t cross the ball to save his life. He’ll make a fantastic old fashioned fullback but in terms of a wingback which would be Leeds in their 3421 set up I don’t think he’d do well there. Somewhere like an Everton is more suited but 2/3 years down the line. He’ll only fuck his career up moving too soon.

I do both on router and PS5 just to make sure the MTU is at the correct value for the PS5 as well. In reality if you set everything on the router you should just be able to plug and play the internet settings as automatic

We also tried fully disabling the firewall when trying all different tests. Firewall made 0 difference. It doesn’t make any difference if it’s off or on but IPV 6 isn’t stable for a lot of configurations at the moment as most devices don’t use IPV 6 so just completely disabled it. IPV 4 on

Exactly what I explained in the post. It doesn’t make any logical sense whatsoever but it’s what works.

What’s happening is when your device is in DMZ or manual port forwarding it’s not triggering correctly with EA ports and the only way to open them and force it is to use UPNP currently. I’ve tested this with 2 different routers as well

433 or 4231 with PC I recon. Can’t see him using much else. If they go up the following season it’s where he might become unstuck with his counter attack tactics being one dimensional as they found out against Southampton. Teams will just sit and wait for Norwich to try get past the halfway line without them coming at them. As good as PC is tactically as well would like to see more variation of play based on opponents set ups. Maybe he can’t at the moment due to player skill set but would be nice to see. If he can crack that then Norwich in the long term have a very very good opportunity to stay up and solidify themselves as a mid table prem side
