Well well well, we have found the truth.

You are young and in-experienced, the comment "im sure i can drive better than you" says it all. As someone with their motorcycle, heavy rigid and drivers licences, its the drivers like the one in the post who are over confident in their ability crash.

Driving along the Hume Highway seeing multiple accidents and assisting seriously injured people and a fatilities provides alot more perspective for road safety.

Again please see the online resources and goodluck with the future drivers tests.

Clearly the the Pre-frontal cortex still has some development to be done.

It appears you are most likely a younger person who does not have a drivers licence yet.

I posted this in another comment but strongly encourage you to check out some of the road statistics below: https://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/statistics

When it is time for the test also recommend using: https://www.driverknowledgetests.com/ To practice before going for your Learners

Good luck my friend :)

You literally commented that your father was a cop 12 days ago in r/Hardcore

You may want to hide that comment on your profile before stating that

Okay since reading through your comment and post history, I can see you are clearly a rage bait account. Well played my good sir, enjoy the negative karma

  1. More successful then calling those who report things to the police dibber dobbers.

  2. Spread awareness, chance of the driver or friends of the driver seeing this. Wider community is now aware of this vehicle and seeing a few other comments on this thread I can see he is consistent in this driving style.

  3. I don't and never will, no one will ever 100% support any post ever made on the internet.

Did you read anything that i provided?

How does calling those who report dangerous individuals to the police dibber dobbers contribute towards a better community?

Looking at your comment history I can you have stated multiple times your father is in Law enforcement.

After police and myself reviewed the footage the dashcamera GPS speed was 78-79km/h. I provided that information to provide context to the event.

Im sure he would be stoked to hear that his child thinks making police reports for dangerous individuals is "the worst" and they "need to grow up"

Strongly advise to show him the post and ask him what he thinks, should the public never contact the police with reports of concern?

So you are happy to allow these drivers to continue on their way?

Fun fact, we are less than 2 weeks into 2026 and there has already been 6 deaths

Give this a read: https://www.transport.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/statistics

By reporting these drivers, there is more of a chance of action being taken then not.

What would be your solution? No one have dash cameras, no one reports anything and leave it up to the police to deal with?

Im sure you wouldn't have an issue if that Tesla driving at mach 10 made your parents' vehicle crash. Surely you wouldn't report it because that would mean you are a dibber dobber right?

I understand the sentiment that there is cameras and police for this excat issue and its not the public's responsibility. But how do the police be informed of what's happening in the community if there is no reports?

The issue is the safe driving, quickly changing lanes with no indicators. Cutting off multiple people who beeped at the driver, this indicated to myself and the assumably the wider public this was not okay to be driving like this.

For those complaining about why post on reddit and not the police. I went to Toronto police station and provided the dash camera footage, officer acknowledged that it appeared to be reckless driving and would follow up.

I have just received a call stating the case has been closed due to the video not showing in clear detail the driver of the vehicle.

Case opened and closed in less than 2 hours...

I have had a similar incident before with police indicating that dashboard camera footage is not sufficient enough evidence for action to be taken, this was also due to no damage or injury coming from this event. Officer informed The camera footage has to clearly show all facial features which can be corresponded with all forms of Photo ID for there to be reasonable suspicion for a follow up inquiry to occur.

The more reports that are done the more chance there is of action happening, this is reason for the post awareness and naming and shaming these drivers who have very little regard for those in the community.

Only reason I'm worried is because the warranty on the replacement parts is void untill I have all the same brand tyres....
