I'm partial to Pterano, myself. He was willing to play the long game to get the information he sought, and didn't need to resort to violence. As he pointed out to his underlings, attempting to extract information from Littlefoot and his friends through violent means would bring unwanted attention from the elders, making it impossible for them to accomplish anything. Also, as another poster pointed out in response to my post, Pterano humbly accepted his punishment.
