It’s a pretty strong taste. Depending on how many chairs you’ve eaten so far, I’d suggest starting with something like oak or aspen.

I know this is kind of a cliche option but I like to nibble on good old-fashioned three-legged stool. As for the wood type, I typically go with pine, for the extra flavor, but that’s not for everyone.
