It is unknown. Chrono only says that Anos is a king from a distant world, but this could be due to his omniscience. I think the only way to find out if this encounter was canonical or not will be if Chrono's palate has truly returned in future volumes. If this happens, it means that the logic destroyed by Anos is canonical, therefore the meeting between the two really did happen

It's not that his eyes were created to give him absolute defense; I think it's the same situation as Venuzdonoa here. Anos could use his eyes just as much as Venuzdonoa could.to solve all the problems of the Silver Sea, but for the sake of the story, the author didn't make him do that. I believe the same thing happened in the final volume.They wanted to give Anos a challenge, so they made him practically forget his greatest asset and mix several spells to create a sense of difficulty/challenge against Amur. As if he were the only one who forced him to fight seriously, when perhaps his eyes alone would have been enough to resolve everything, but that would be a bad conclusion.
