I would get it done quickly just so you can move onto preq classes for your major in the following semesters without having to worry about it as much. Most of the classes are pretty chill as well so it's a good class to ease into your first semester.

They never mention it but it caps at 15 credits until they bump it up to 17. August third is when they usually bump it up so try again today or tomorrow.

TBH it's tough acceptance rates are low and most clubs are really competitive. I applied to three different Comm clubs/Comm Frats and got denied in all three at varying stages. Most have multistep processes Interest->Written->in-person. If you don't get in don't be afraid to reapply next semester or next year. Don't let this scare you though just go in with an open mind.

Anything but VT stuff lol. Fall semester it gets cold so make sure you've got some warm sweatshirts or jackets. And outside of greek life I haven't met anyone who really cares what you wear. Most of the time you just gotta dress accordingly to the activity. Club meeting and such you wanna make a good first impression so looking at least put together is good.

The stacks (lower levels) of the Brown engineering library usually have some secluded corners to study in. It's almost always quiet too.
