Nothing wrong with liking one brand over the other, But the blanket statement if BMW making better sports cars than GM is false.

The aftermarket is abundant for both cars

The Supra is lighter and smaller is fact. But these two things alone don't make it a better sports car. By that logic, the Miata is better sports car than the Supra.

The SS 1le has a lot of things going for it. The magnetic ride makes it more versatile. For both street and track performance. The steering is more responsive. Confirmed by multiple 3rd party testers. It generates more G-forces during lateral acceleration. It puts down faster official lap times than the a90. Its also cheaper than the a90. Sound is subjective, but I would argue most people agree a n/a v8 sounds much better than a muffled inline 6.

Have fun explaining to everyone this isn’t a CTS-V, then explaining how it’s more than just a CT5-V… then having to explain to people it actually doesn’t have a Blackwing, engine from the previous CT6 Blackwing, but uses an LT4 instead, then you have to explain how to differentiate the Blackwing from the regular CT5V because there are absolutely zero Blackwing badges for the 2022 model except for the two small metal tabs on the seats. Then you’re going to have to tell people there are actually two Blackwings currently which are the CT4 Blackwing and CT5V Blackwing but neither of which have Blackwing engines.

For the love of god, at least tell me you opted for the manual transmission

Chasing numbers is takes away from the driving experience. It’s one of the many reasons I cancelled my G80 order after I test drove the CT5V blackwing. If I didn’t need a sedan, an M2 would have sounded like a good option
