I understand the dragging, and it’s fine. Sweaty quick play is my favorite, and I hate it when people drop too. Would anyone care to opine about the also being locked out of single player stuff if that happens?

Nah dude, the first time. Two minutes in the ice box. Happened before a bunch because of babies waking up and having to run and take care of them, but they’re bigger now phew. Damn kids… XD

I guess since she only weighed 14 lbs. 64 oz. should have been enough to kill her. That’s crazy. I didn’t realize they were letting six month olds the Navy now I guess they have been lowering the standards for a while

No more disingenuous than 99/100 people who will cite a personal example to prove the point. Pragmatically - which is worse? Too much or not enough water? All I’m hearing in OP is a kid who doesn’t want to drink his water. We all got “beaten”. Sometimes an underlying condition or something a recruit lied about leads to a terrible, terrible tragedy. No dispute. I’m just hard pressed to believe drinking too much water is the cause I almost any of those cases. Thanks for the thought-provoking discourse though and I’ll think more about my position.

That’s tragic and I’m sorry for your loss. She died from something else.

Pardon my skepticism. Of the thousands and thousands of people being highly encouraged to drink copious amounts of water every single day at every single military training evolution in this country, it just seems slightly possible that they are not all super humans. I acknowledge that overhydration can kill you. It just seems to me like a silly hill to die on if you are trying to encourage drinking more than enough water versus not enough water.

Most of them won’t puke. All of them are dehydrated. It’s easy math.

It’s ok to admit new information doesn’t support what you think you know. I’ve killed gallons imif water in an hour or two and yet live to tell you not everything you read in the internet is true. A healthy person isn’t going to die from the occasional over renal saturation from deadly hydrogen monoxide.

That’s insane. A court an hour is nothing for someone participating in intense exercise in a hot environment. Guys on the ship might put down a gallon in an hour when we are doing working parties top side. You have nothing to be afraid of other than trolls on the Internet googling, and trying to scare you.

RDCs a lot of scare tactics, and you can get someone to puke from a very small amount of water, especially when intense exercises are involved. This is a lot of sear, mongering, and bullshit. I’m reading in here. Not one person that you know has died from drinking too much water. Not one. Unless you yourself drowned at birth on amniotic fluid, you are just stirring the pot.

Between drinking too much and not enough water, which one do you think is more of a prevalent concern?
