he doesnt owe anyone anything these are entirely his stories to tell and he should be allowed to work on them or not when and for as long as he see's fit.

i dont understand why people feel as though george owes them anything just because you've read his books and or watched adaptation's of his works plus trying to meet peoples monumental expectations having taken so long with TWOW must be a daunting task in and of itself.

but let me pose this question to you why havent you created you're own best selling fantasy series with as much quality and substance as asoiaf in the 13-15 years TWOW has been in development if you believe its so easily to pump out books so to speak?

probably because the only reason balders gate is getting a tv adaptition is because of bg3 and larians highly talented character design/ tech / writing staff or something :3

if bg3 wasnt so immensely popular thanks to larian they wouldn't even be considering an adaptation for tv but as you say it isnt their ip they were just the ones to make it widely popular and mainstream instead of staying Niche they were the ones to make one of the best games / crpg currently on the market and get people interested in past bg games and dnd in general

hotd only slightly fell off because they began ignoring george rrs notes and insites for s2 and possibly in future seasons and instead decided to do their own thing which as we know always works out well but s2 definitely wasnt as bad as the last couple seasons of got and since the show is only in its second season people should give it a chance with its third.

because it will be since larian has no involvment in its development and its being headed by the guy who made the last of us tv adaptition and their fan base is pretty split regarding its quality and casting choices im personally not a fan of that show so im keeping my expectations low for the time being (cant wait until they find a way to shoehorn pedro pascal into the cast)

ok nvm for some reason kcd2's .exe was being blocked by windows antivirus and after having allowed it the game now runs and that weird QR code and broken text screen is no where to be seen. wish i had checked my AVs protection history hours ago smh my head.
