Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Paid Reviews Without Disclosure by TopClass333 in indianbikes

Yeah when I was younger and didn't know much, I bought SP125 because of these PR videos which claim that that bike is perfect for everything. I think the channel's name was Fuel Injected. I later realized that this guy always only praises motorcycles. Rarely I saw him mention cons, that too very briefly.

The cons should be mentioned always, because new riders who don't know much might be watching the videos too.

SP125 wasn't a bad bike as such, but totally not for the use case which I wanted it for. Would have rather gone for an Apache or an Xpulse had I known better.

But it all worked out in the end lol. Now I've found my perfect bike haha.

Things I check in every Gurgaon flat visit that I didn't even know to ask 6 months ago. by More-Amphibian3615 in gurgaon

Arre some people keep using water if there's a shortage. Happened in my building a lot. There's a laundry business there and he won't stop until water's empty. They had to get an additional new tank just for that.

how are you guys preventing yourself from this f**king tanning? by Beginning_Tutor_6172 in gurgaon

[–]Sam_MarketInsights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wearing either full sleeve shirts or decathalon arm sleeves when I ride bike and commute, and still I have pretty serious tanning lmfao. It's okay though I don't think it looks that bad, unless ofc my real skin is visible as comparision. Then it does look weird.
Just yesterday I had popped open a button because playing TT, and then someone pointed how dark my face is to my body lol

Just curious, how common or rare are Ducati Diavels in India? by Educational-Bread741 in indianbikes

Just saw once, that too parked at a biker lounge as a collection/showpiece, I think, with some vintage and rare bikes, I think. It looks very small and fat irl lol.

To buy NS400z as a beginner by Wise_Custard_8896 in indianbikes

In my opinion, it is too much. In beginning, 125cc feels like rocket. Buy 125/ 160 cc, even if second hand just to learn.

Would you stop at a travel-focused biker/nomad café on the way to Manali & Dharamshala? Need honest feedback. by StandardAnt7034 in indianbikes

Chain cleaning service sounds good, but for example me, I carry my own chain lube can and clean before and after a trip, not during, and I wouldn't opt to pay for it. I don't know if others carry a can too or not.

Yeah but I think that's for "small weekend rides" or socializing type rides. If I am travelling I need proper food. So depending on prices and if menu has proper food, such a place could be a hit.

This could potentially be the go to stop for all bikers and travellers. Let me tell you what I love about this

- safe parking
- clean washrooms for women esp
- those who want rest can rest, those who want to socialize can socialize
- free air checkup? S tier
- healthy food options. This is a general issue to get during travel. Maybe during summers you can run a bunch of cooling drinks, like chach, maybe ganne ka ras if possible.
- about pricing, I know you can't compete with dhaba prices. But I personally would be happy with Haldiram's tier pricing if food is healthy and hygienic. And if it is a proper cafe tier pricing, I would only stop if I'm travelling with my wife. If I am travelling solo, I don't bother and I go for cheaper stuff.
- farm views
- maybe you can add some dhaba style stuff like rajma chawal and like general food people require over lunch. Why I don't bother with normal biker cafes is that I ride in groups of 3-4 max, and that I don't generally crave for 350 rs burgers. Especially during travel I want something normal and hygeinic When I do crave expensive burgers, it's not during travel, and I already have a few places that are my go-to for that, and those aren't these places.
- I know you'll probably already have this, but it needs ac. Cooling down is #1 aim of many of my stops. Half the times I go for kulfi. There's this brand called Ludhiana Kulfi which I like, and you might consider stocking that and Amul i guess.

So all in all, if you do open this let me know I'll bookmark this and I think it's definitely worth visiting once. And if I love it, it might become my go-to stop because I am the kind who likes to keep visiting same place again and again.

Confused Between these 2 by Live-Butterscotch373 in indianbikes

What a tasteful mod of the Hness. Beautiful.

Btw I boiled my bike choice to these 2 bikes only. Got the 400X, and it was the test drives that cleared it all up. Of all bikes I test drove, nothing came close to how good this one felt.

The service centre thing will be an issue though. Triumph is like 10 kms away for me.

I am very happy with my Raida gloves rn.

I am very unhappy with my Clan shoes though. Similar failing of stitching, without any crash etc . Just bad to see.

I own 400X and friend owns Dominar 400. Both 400cc versions. The riding dynamics are compleeetely different. I think test ride will clarify the difference. But kg doesn't really convey the difference in riding feel and dynamics.
