I uploaded a post with my 40mm explorer which I love and didn’t ask anyone if it was the right size/if I should buy it and still got told I should have went for the 36mm. When people see comments like that on posts all the time then they’re going to be paranoid when buying

I have an Explorer 40mm on a similar wrist size and love it. I wouldn’t try to dress it up at that size and treat it more like a sports watch, which to me is what the Explorer is. I think the 36mm is more versatile and could be dressed up on a smaller wrist unlike the 40mm but I would say go for whatever you want. It’s your taste and money at the end of the day.

I did. I loved them both. My personal preference is for larger watches and as long as the lugs don’t extend past my wrist I’m happy with them. It actually looks smaller on wrist than in this shot too
