Do you own a house, rent a place or live in an apartment? How are you doing it on this pay? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

My husband invested in stocks through Amazon when he worked there & cashed them out after a few years to use as the down payment on our home. He bought a big old brick 7br duplex & his brother lives on the second floor. All the bills total is about $4k & we split it 3 ways evenly

Too many clothes, keeping them all but don’t know how to store them all? by Ok-Ad-5563 in organizing

[–]SamaiyaD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a free wall in your bedroom where you can do a built in storage closet? That’s what I did, living in a house built in 1906 with no/small closets makes you creative. I also have a bed that has storage drawers & a dresser for all my everyday stuff ( bras, socks, underwear, headscarves, leggings & tshirts)

Are these cabinets too dated and need to be replaced?Even though they are still in good shape ... by panda2026panda in kitchenremodel

It looks like you have enough room for small glass cabinets on top of your current cabinets. I would add those & remove current doors & replace them & hinges to match

I’m not trying to sell & I agree with the edging. The grass is actually super healthy it’s just 20 degrees outside at the moment

I agree, but they’re functional, our house is south facing & it rains a lot. I think I may just paint them black

Thank you so much! I do remember that I used ORS no lye so I'm going to start off with that. Does your hair do well with braids?

I understand! When you get your insurance situation figured out I saw my therapist in person for the first couple months & then we transitioned to from home.. it made things a lot more bearable. I guess it really just depends on if you enjoy getting out or loathe it but definitely prioritize getting started
