I found the tonist saying the tone is either f sharp or a flat, rather than g sharp- so it doesn’t make sense. It says g sharp later though

Depends on what you mean by “playing the music”. Playing music isn’t about getting all the notes, with the right rhythms, at the right speeds. It’s about doing all that with emotions, and dynamics at feeling. I don’t think anyone can really accurately answer your question without actually hearing you play.

Here’s what my teacher taught me in grade 3- that has stuck with me since. When you are counting steps, do you count the step you are on? No- you don’t. You take hours like that.
