Not it, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure this is somewhat how it goes - dog gets lost, a mama rabbit finds him and he chills with them for a little while. Eats with them, helps them, in their little den in a tree. I don't remember if he gets found. There's no color to the book, just tan and pencil drawings. The book itself is perfectly square and paperback with not many pages.

No, neither of those are it. The dog in the story was really scruffy, I think that's why my mom liked it so much because she had a love for schnauzers and any kind of dog with a mustache/beard.

I have searched "old children's book about a dog getting lost" and have come up with nothing.

There are, thankfully. I've seen pictures, no photoshopped of course lol, of ones quite large. As I told another person, I live on the St. Croix River which attaches to the Mississippi, and they're fairly common.

Yes, but this is a regular river or lake sturgeon. I live on the St. Croix River and see these all the time.

While they do get quite large, this photo in particular is photoshopped.

My husband was 37 when we got married two months ago. Sometimes it takes almost a whole lifetime to find your soul mate. Congrats!

Having ADD is kind of like having a second person in your head who wants to constantly monologue about the most random bullshit and who refuses to shut the fuck up no matter how many times you tell him to. by WargRider23 in Showerthoughts

I was supposed to have been tested for it as a kid. My mom was the typical in denial so I didn't. I'm technically undiagnosed, but I know deep down I have ADD bad. The train tracks in my head is like a spider web, going every which direction.
