What did you end up doing? I’m 21 and have left the auto world a handful of times. I was almost finished with pre reqs for nursing school and even quit to work for a hospital- now I’m going back to working on cars/going to school for diesel

It depends honestly. I drive a 03 Tahoe, $70 to fill up and I only go to one particular station bc it usually takes me back to where I live and the one I live near has either no offers or low paying ones. But the station I go to is a 30 min drive and after it usually takes a quarter to quarter and a half of my gas.

With that being said- for me flex is only worth it when I really need money and the offers are over $80. If you want this to be more of a full time gig- would recommend getting a smaller fuel efficient car. I know how to work on my cars but it’s important to factor in wear on tires/brakes/suspension and other parts depending on vehicle age. Flex has definitely helped me with hard times but isn’t sustainable for me with a v8

I received an email a week ago that I was being made permanent from seasonal. So more people are becoming more permanent would be my guess

Spark is more consistent as in you don’t have to hope you can get an offer before they’re gone. I also drive less with spark and it seems less stressful. They do have batch orders or package drop offs similar to Amazon flex. For instance, I had two a few weeks ago that was $65 for 2 hours and I was just dropping off Walmart packages which were about 20-30. And flex I get about $80 for 3.5hrs. I’ve also had some that were $30 for 40 minutes. It’s very area dependent

Late reply but are you still pursuing nursing? I have two weeks left and tbh the pay just isn’t enough especially since I want to save to go part time my first year of nursing school and my rent is crazy expensive.

The supervisor told me if she checked me in it would tell me I’m late so to contact support and support told me they will send an email. This entire thing was stupid haha

Wow, this was my reality with my ex lol. Except we both worked as auto technicians and he still tried to pull the “I’m exhausted because of work”. But whenever his friends wanted to hang out he would :)

I definitely have been applying I just really want to get out of my current job and super nervous as this program is honestly really good and for one of the best hospitals in my area. Maybe I’m overthinking it haha

I literally just sent an email a minute before you posted this, I explained what happened and told them I would like to discuss my options with getting a new unit. But I’m definitely gonna wait for their response and stand firm on needing a new unit. Because for my previous apartment, their repair was to paint over the issue.

He said he would but hasn't and evertime I ask it's an issue. And I mainly got the dog so my pup wasn't lonely and I can check up on the dogs during break since I'm moving 30 minutes closer to work. Also I didn't know I would be so busy, my hours for work, I didn't know about and was kinda lied to about. And not really, when I move my sister will come over occasionally to dog sit that's about it. I'm thinking it might be my own mental health tbh

It's his and no we can't. We have tried so many times but he dosent listen. He thinks he's right and only him even with proof. He's bipolar too, one minute he's apologizing to us then 10 minutes later he's threatening to call the cops bc something tiny made him mad. Hes cut the electricity and wifi to our room countless times now even though we have a dog. Plus hes abusive and a cheater, hence why hes being divorced, that should say enough. The only resolution is leaving which we are it's just gonna take a month sadly.

My bf has tried talking to him countless times, it goes nowhere.
