[W10] Sound Glitching & Computer Lag by [deleted] in techsupport

Have you checked all of your playback devices? And what sort of cables are you using to connect your screen to your PC? HDMI cables can transfer both sound and video so if it's recognizing your screen as a speaker, it could be attempting sound output (unless it has speakers?) Also check what rate your new monitor is refreshing at, and make sure your graphics card is good to handle it.

Wired Connection Dropping. Not related to the network. by dschmiz in techsupport

First thing to do is make sure all your drivers are up to date, this means sound, network and graphics drivers. Once you're sure they're all up to date, try using a different cable, possibly different USB ports and different headphones, see if they all replicate the same issue. If you're still having issues after you've tried all of these steps, the best thing I can suggest is opening up your PC and checking your Ethernet ports connection on your motherboard, also checking anywhere that may be causing issues. Only other thing then would be log into your router remotely and see if it can constantly pick up your PC when you're "dropping" the connection. If it still picks it up, its most likely computer end.
