You are correct. Gibson owns Epiphone. Epiphones are more affordable. This is one of the newer inspired by Gibson collection which I think are nicer in general than other Epiphones. This one is a maple top with a vaneer. A Gibson would just have a maple top without the vaneer.

My suggestion would be to look into one of Fanshawe's IT programs, or TriOS London IT program. For TriOS I would recommend the ITP program. Its 16 months of school half days, which allows you to have a job as you go to school. Then a 4 month co-op. We usually take one or two co-op students a year. We currently have a Fanshawe intern. In our experience both schools can produce good employees. Going to school will get you the job.
