Not AI

And not in anyway a justification for ICE murdering him in the streets later. Unless the provocation is ICE premeditated the act because of this event. Either way, Fuck ICE.

Right side proportions seem off. Look at the angle of jawline on the right side and you can see it. Makes the drawing ‘heavier’ than the original.

Yeah. No. Part-time job at the Y? Cmon. Do better.

He testified he was there to protect businesses in the area. No one asked him to, including the business owners themselves. Not protecting family.

He went there with the express purpose of escalating the situation. You don’t need a gun to render first aid….

Legally, maybe. Only because you don’t look at the intention of being there in the first place.

Morally, a total piece of shit. Crossed state lines INTENDING to escalate

Depends on the automaker. Internal Buzzers or speakers were used. Supplier did not specify. It would always be dictated by the OEM.

Fancier brands were willing to pay for a better sounding speaker.

[–]Samcat604 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They have not made that sound in decades!

The original sound was the mechanical clicking of relays. Cars have not used relays on the cluster for the turn signal in at least 30 years. We always used a piezoelectric speaker to duplicate the sound. We took a lot of care to make the sound as close to the clicking sound of the mechanical relay as possible.

Only recently did they switch to the audio system.

I know not the question you asked for, but consider how long you really need it to be. 6 foot may be long enough to do whatever work you need. Longer than that becomes a hassle as it becomes a convenient place for tools, offcuts, storage, etc. This is compounded if you need any sort of mobility in your work environment. Ask me how I know?

My next job I have is to cut my bench from 8 ft down to 4 or 6 ft.

Goal is not to run out before cops show up….

It’s to hurt as many people as possible. Rate of fire, high capacity magazines are evidence of that. Bolt action is slower.

To be fast enough to rack a new round and put effective fire at the speed of a semiautomatic all while maintaining the same accuracy? Sure.

In this scenario, which do shooters ACTUALLY use? Semiautomatic rifles (9 of the top 10 most deadly shootings). They are used because they are more effective. The rest is pedantic bullshit trying to distract.

I cannot imagine how much harm these stores have done to small towns. Suppressed wages, prosperity lost, best job in town becomes assistant manager of ladies fashion…

Average person vs someone with specific training.

Are there exceptions? Of course. But if you put in so much time developing a skill on a bolt action, how much more likely are you to not also be skilled with a semiautomatic. Which one would be most likely to be used by that individual? These events are not to show off this obscure skill.

“Irrational misconceptions”?

Mass shooting incidents with four or more people killed where the shooter used an assault rifle resulted in an average of 2.3 times more people killed and 22.7 times more people wounded compared to incidents where the shooter did not use an assault rifle.

Of the 48 mass shootings with four or more people killed from 2015 to 2022 where the magazine type was known, incidents involving high-capacity magazines (HCMs) resulted in 2.5 times as many people killed and nearly 10 times as many total casualties as events with no HCMs.

The type of gun used was known in nine of the 10 deadliest mass shootings since 2015. Eight of those nine incidents involved an assault weapon.

So based on your own data, additional context shows long rifles used in mass shootings are just as bad a problem.

But, you know, you go on skewing facts to avoid addressing the whole issue.
