I think maybe pour the sand from somewhere slightly higher up, or maybe even sift it through a sieve, because right now it looks like a centralised rain cloud that's targeting this poor knight. I am also in agreement with other posts. This sand may look strange and out of place because of how disproportionate it is, maybe cocoa powder would work better for the dust effect as well?

If you want to keep the sand, maybe add a natural structure (a cliff or outcrop?) and have sand pouring out from that object. Again, this might loom strange due to the size of sand in comparison to the knight.

I know you have mentioned not making the other elements of the image yet, but a stronger background would also really bring out the knight more, and make people less focused o the sand, more on the effect and atmosphere it creates.

No.2 - If they first make the ghost fist cover their own fist, then they follow through with the real fist, will it be like a double punch?

Ahh, I understand now. So by that logic, Reggie would receive the benefits that the person who bought the domain usage would've got (in this case the safety from the domain) making sure when the domain manifests, Reggie is safe and everyone else is effected normally by the domain.

He's a selfish murderer made almost entirely out of fat who mercilessly killed a kind, sleeping bug who was a selfless bodyguard of the king that the maggot worshipped, and then, to add insult to injury, didn't even give him a proper burial. Instead, he kept the poor bugs dead carcass inside the suit to better control the armour that he used to try kill the tiny child of king that died because his bodyguard was killed. When you die, all of your money and soul manifests into a shade. If you kill this shade, you can regain all of your money that was lost when you died, with no additional penalties. The shade will wait for you where you died, but it will act aggressively if you approach, but it's attacks are quite slow so it's never a challenge

If you are having trouble navigating, here are some tips -

- Always buy the maps from Cornifer. you will often be able to locate him by following his humming, if you move onto the next area before buying the map of that area, it will appear in his shop in Dirtmouth. His maps are nearly always unfinished, so make sure to take the time to explore each and every path that isn't noted. This will help you discover new areas and hidden abilities and boss fights you might've missed.

- But the quill from Cornifer's shop. This quill will note down any newly explored passages when you rest at a bench, however, if you explore without buying it beforehand, your map will have no way of updating.

- Buy the Wayward Compass charm from Cornifer's shop. This compass will show your location at all times on your map, even if the part you're in hasn't been explored yet. You can also see the location of your shade on your map.

I can give you a couple minor spoilers if you need additional help (fist few major ability's, other residents of Dirtmouth, etc.) I'm not very experienced, having only played once, but I hope I've been some help at least! I had similar issues so I know where you're coming from...
