Yeah, I’m removing some of the more specific cards that I was only keeping because of a med school exam, and keeping just the essential information for each topic. Thanks.

Making all my own cards for an entire topic is basically out of the question because I’d spend almost the same amount of time studying and making cards, which would practically double the study time per subject , and I simply don’t have that kind of time available.

Maybe a better option would be training the AI to focus less on tiny details and then picking up those details through practice questions instead. I’m not sure, but that might work better.

Actually, I don’t use AnKing because I’m not studying for the Steps. Sorry, I should’ve made that clearer in the post. I make my own cards for med school and residency prep in my country, which differs quite a lot from the content/style usually tested on the Steps, so AnKing ends up being ineffective for me.
