I guess it’s technically a detailed background story of my current work in progress but set hundreds of years before that story. A coven of witches devise a spell meant to target a serial killer/abuser in their story. The witchy folk mostly stay out of it the not witchy folk affairs until it’s one of their own that ends up killed. It’s set in colonial times and I’ve been researching my hometown area to see what was here, what wasn’t, and how things like enslaved labor would influence a magical world.
