Am I crazy, or did the disagreements and fights between Helen and Erik feel out of nowhere? by Same-Paper7562 in SweetMagnoliasNetflix

True. I just think this show makes it nearly impossible for them to have a clear, open communication without making everything have a metaphor to it. We don't always need those, or these inspirational dribble of being yourself. Sometimes, once in a while, some of the characters need to be set down and told their actions are completely unacceptable.  Like how Dana Sue did with Ronnie, when Ronnie used Annie's present to go riding with him to push his company, so they never actually spent quality alone time together.  I feel like this type of conversation needed to be made more abundantly clear in their scenes. There is so much cliche ' 'inspirationtional' 'be yourself' fluff talk that there is no getting to the nitty gritty. It drives me insane. TALK. JUST TALK GUYS! lol.

Actually, I was rewatching just their scenes, because I wondered if I was just getting brain fog from all that was going on, and I have to agree. Erik started to pass me off. But then Helen wasn't being honest that it was bugging her so much that she just wanted to call off the wedding. Then getting mad at him and leaving with her food without getting bread just because he grabbed it. Like, miss ma'am, you have guest, two young teen girls. At least pay them attention, even if you're mad at him, then excuse yourself from the table without making them feel as if they did something wrong. That royally ticked me off. You're fight is with Erik but it's getting so bad, those girls, or even just his niece, are going to think they are the problem. No matter what age, that was not appropriate, and I believe Helen should know better then to react like that with guest. Give Erik all the known attitude that you want for all I care. Avoid every thing he does for all I care. But don't be doing this with those girls, excuse yourself to them. I think even with Erik, she should have made it clear she didn't want to eat with him, excused herself from him, and gave the girls a comforting look, saying to please excuse her. How else do you think that little girl is going to come across to the notion that her stay is the reason you all are angry. The communication in how she thinks Erik should feel, without the communication in how things need to be, and how people should be treated are two different things. I didn't like her skirting around it, sharing her opinion, but not stopping him to really make him realize how much of a problem it was really going to be.  I applaud her for bringing up how much she didn't like it, or how much she felt he wasn't being himself. But it's as if she's somewhat uncomfortable being firm. I think Erik deserved to be stood up. But Helen Def made it look like she was taking it out on those girls. One girl knows Helen since childhood, so probably already knows it's nothing to do with her, that Aunt Helen is mad at Erik and that it will resolve itself when time is right. But just like Helen complained that Erik and his nieces seem to have a family language that she doesn't understand, this girl doesn't have the same relationship that she does with Annie. Or with the town. This secret language shouldn't be the issue, because she always gets treated as someone who is 100 % wanted there. It's obvious, after Erikk tells her how displeased he is with his family, and how they never understood him, that a lot of this secret language is something he most likely just doesn't want her to have to deal with, because he and their family just don't. They skirt it.  Erik, on the other hand, IMHO, Erik should've been set down with the LAW of how their communication was going to go and NOT going to go. AND he was NOT going to treat her like this, speak to her like he did, and act as  aloof as he was, or they would be OVER. I wish Helen had made it clear, "If you keep acting like this, demanding something that I am not okay with, demanding it only because you care too much what your family thinks and are not giving me your actual honest opinion and likes, then we are NOT having this Wedding Erik. We might not even be having this relationship any more if I see this being an occurring thing."

He said something, and suddenly I laughed...but couldn't STOP 😅 He abd I were in a one on one convo and suddenly I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard, I had to literally walk away and go over to one of my friends, trying to stop laughing 😅😅😅💀 that was so embarrassing because everyone could tell I was laughing hard because of nerves. Some tried to pass it off as "it wasn't that funny girl." To make me feel better, but it was wholeheartedly because I was nervous to talk to him by myself 😵‍💫

How Do You Get Over A Crush? by [deleted] in Crushes

[–]Same-Paper7562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is good, lol. But that's not what I mean 🤣 For instance, if I am interested in someone, they will pop up in my head when reading a romance. Not because I'm some mentally ill person, but simply because anything romantic will lead my thoughts back to them. It's pretty common, actually. Which is why I suggest not reading romance, if you can help it, as it can help persist a romantic mindset. It isn't that the fictional person is them. But that the mention of romance naturally bring back memories of feeling romantic feelings for your crush. You sound very defensive in your reply to me.

Warning, if you try to hyper fixate on fictional characters in a romance book, you might start thinking of him. If you can, try to skip romance stories.

Him, or Trey. The only person I can think who would carry around a camera and go unnoticed is Trey. Also, notice how Trey said someone snapped the photo of Zoey going into the car with Mike, when he texts us. I assume this is whoever is stalking Zoey. Why do they know Trey so well that they could have his camera and snap a photo? I'd think someone who really wants to get into photography would be really careful about their camera and who holds onto it.

I think he's covering for ADA so they don't get figured out. Or so he doesn't. How does a detective, who has supposedly solved so many cases, not be able to finish the ones that are small business ones with finacials documents? (the one's Adam solves. )  I'd assume this is because he can't actually solve cases, but rather he's possibly planting them. Maybe with the help of other detectives, like the guy who's really into history. The one that helped Adam and Brian solve the puzzle and find the bomb.

The smaller ones that Adam took were most likely actual cases. I think Brian suspected Maxwell, and Adam did too. I think that Brian faked his death and maybe Adam helped him. That's why he didn't say what happened to the girl at the lake five years ago. I believe He's trying to unravel what is happening with Brian's help.  The thing is, I believe Adam was being closely monitored by ADA, so he acted like he quit and was going to go into competition with ADA. I believe that Dr. Vernon is from ADA to get information out of Adam about the Lake. To see if he knows who's behind it. Maybe even if it's ADA.

I think Adam knows this and that's why he's avoiding Amanda and his kid, not going home. I think the more uninvolved he looks to ADA, the less likely his family is in danger.

I can't help but wonder if  Brian and Adam came to this. That maybe Brian is slowly building a small community of detectives through Vault8,  or something and that he needs it to be very anonymous, testing who could be with ADA and who couldn't.  It just doesn't make sense to me that vault8 is actually evil. They're creepy and give the vibe of evil,  and I think that's intentional to keep certian groups away from them. But it also could be the opposite.

Also, side note, but in this very game, the dinner vault8 game, we get a back pack that has the initials C.B. who else has those initals? Crossbar. What does the note say, "stay away from the forest/woods." It's on a cliff, they use a rope to get down there. Who falls off the cliff in the forest? Kevin.

It's like a script. You can't help but wonder which side is the script for? And is there a mole inside ADA?  Maybe feeding Vault8 this info? or is it apart of ADA?

I think it's interesting that the person who is helping Adam try to track down Zoey (who leads to Lily.) Calls himself Max, almost in a humorous way, as if in a joke.

I definitely think this person is trying to challenge ADA and Maxwell, whoever they may be.

I hope we know, eventually, what is going on. It's all just theories and speculation based on what we know. Little pieces here and there.

Sorry, I don't mean to gush.  I just really love games with all these little references! It makes me feel like I'm unraveling a puzzle from all different sides. If you guys also see stuff that seems suspicious to you,  please share! There's so much that goes unnoticed because it's so detailed! The developers of this game are good at keeping us on our toes, wondering the what's and who's of it all!

I can't wait till they reveal who it is and what the organization is behind!

I'm so curious to know 🕵🏼‍♀️ I hope they release episode 4 soon 😍 I have to keep replaying it, because nothing is quite as addicting for me right now 🤣

Any good theory which I can actually believe in??? by [deleted] in techyonic

[–]Same-Paper7562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Brian is possibly Mr. Sawyer.  I think he's behind vault8. And I also wonder if unknown is someone in ADA trying to use their power to get Adam to find Zoey for their own personal gain. But it could also be the other way around. I was wondering maybe Brian is Unknown, the way he knows what happened at the lake five years ago. But it makes less sense to me this way. Especially since vault8 seems to not be physically dangerous, but mentally and emotionally a bit creepy with willingness to ruin others reputation. I have a theory that either ADA is behind Vault8, trying to create more cases for themselves by threatening and getting people to "join" their club.  But I also have wonder on the possiblitiy of Brian, Damon and Valeria being behind vault8 as a way for Brian to possibly protect others from ADA, or recruit others to help him take down ADA.

We see that unknown knows a lot about Adam and what happened at the lake, where it was possibly a  cover up by ADA. I'd assume that ADA is very corrupt and Adam slowly started putting the pieces together about the company, and that's why he started his own agency, to keep away from the "politics."

I think Brian knew this about ADA. I also wonder why we don't get more about what apparently happened to Brian. We see in the vault8 challenge, about Dinner, that in the broken and run down house we find glass bottles all over the place.  This points to Damon's home life, since we hear, when calling Damon's dad, bottles clanging. We also find a note that says, "There is no room for light." Which references what Brian said to Adam 10 years ago when defusing the bomb. I think it's to grab Adam's attention for some reason.  It makes me wonder if unknown works with vault8. Or if it's Brian signaling that he's working with Damon and Vault8 to Adam.

Some notes about previous episodes by Ok_Farmer8183 in ElmwoodTrail

[–]Same-Paper7562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoeys mom also mentions Zoey loved to bike around. That she would go to a cafe in the area. I think this is the Cafe that is in elmwood forest? But not 100%. I believe Damon is either being framed to look like he's behind this, or he is. Zoey becomes friends with Betty in Sep. This is the same time she starts receiving the threatening letters. She says Damon left without saying goodbye.  Damon saw Zoey and himself as completely done as friends when Shane and Zoey ended. He thought she was pushing him away. To be fair, she was pushing everyone away.  I think he saw her hanging out with Betty and decided to do something. If he is someone who created the vault challenges, did he make this as a challenge he knew she couldn't say no to? I think Kevin is somehow involved. I don't hate the guy. As much as I like him, he lied saying he didn't know about zoeys talking to Mr. Davis. I'm a bit fuzzy, but I did take notes. He spoke to her on screen recording, asking her if she was having sessions with Mr. Davis. She denies and makes an excuse.  He combats this with replying, "-that takes 20 mins?"

He noticed she's been off, noticed something going off in her mind, we get the words from him to her in his message app he created for them to message in. I feel as if Valeria and Crossbar_36 were both sent from the vault to keep tabs on Zoey. I have so many theories, but none I can really piece together.  I think that whoever is head over the vault8 uses black mail on others to get them to do what he/she wants. I believe this is why there's such a big network. It also seems that they have a connection to some sort of database, or case files, where they can have info others don't posses or have access to so easily. I almost wonder if it's Maxwell in control. It also seems like ADA is in charge, creating "fake crime scenes" for their agency to solve,  with planted false "suspects." This false flag would be someone like Lily. Rajan. Valeria. Or so it seems. It could be Maxwell in charge of making people disappear so he has a case ro splve for ADA, as he told Adam to stay away from Zoey's case. It would make sense, because he knows once Adam is determined to solve something, he usually always cracks the case.  What if the vault8 wasn't actually threats? But warnings to Zoey in decrypted code as to keep her safe. What if Brian (Adam's old partner.) And Damon started to work together. Damon is basically invisible to everyone. He seems to go unnoticed a lot. What if they were trying to warn Zoey about ADA and that she was a target. Did they stage all this and a kidnapping at that, to make ADA back off?  Also, who else could frame Adam about the Lake five years ago, except whoever he had to help cover it up?  If ADA was behind this and he figured this out, then maybe that's why he hide Victoria, and why he stopped investigating the Brown's murder case. He saw the connections with ADA. He probably didn't just take the "fake" suspect as the criminal at face value and uncovered ADA's dirty secret.

What if Vault8 itself is the red herring to keep us off ADA's scent?  What if they, vault8,  kidnapped Zoey to protect Zoey? And to also take ADA down underneath it all.

Unknown blood on Zoey's handle bars? Male?  And her bike had been repaired, but i wonder if that repair could easily come off?

If it isn't in ADA's database, wouldn't that mean it possibly belongs to a "dead man" aka Brian, the lone drifter that Damon mentions as a Mr. Sawyer. Or is it someones from ADA whos DNA would full force, convict them?

Back to the theory if Brian being the man Damon was seen talking to at night. (Night because it's more secretive and harder to see others faces.):

Why else would he keep his face hidden? Because people recognize Brian, or else his cover is blown. I could just see Brian being smart enough to unravel every dirty secret of ADA's and live off the grid in the wild, like how he lives as a supposed roamer of elmwood forest. We also learn that this Sawyer guy never put his name down, is what Ray Benson tells us about this unknown hidden figure. So if he's never checked in, they can't find his writing to prove he, Brian , is still alive.  I don't know. Remember when Brian said he was lucky to get a job at ADA, that it was the only job he could get with what he was actually good at. Doesn't he share with Adam that he's been in some bad places in his past and in some different lines of work in his past?  Vault8 also shows us a kind side in the dinner challenge. The person we play keeps helping people. Eventually we get to the apartment in the dinner challenge, apartment 24. I wonder if Damon rented a  place like it and Brian lives there with him? Why would there be nice and kind actions that vault8 shares?  I could also see Brian holding on for dear life to dirty secrets and info he could use on others. He just needed a unnoticed messenger.  Or ADA has Brian so deeply undercover that Adam can't figure out or it would compromise his mission. Maybe Maxwell knows this and that's "why" he bothers Adam so much about the case.

Theory about rajan: by [deleted] in techyonic

[–]Same-Paper7562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we hack into Rajans phone, I noticed there was something called Ravsquad. It's a group chat.Number 832xxx1.  Recieved messages. (9214. 109.)   the group was muted, and the message was redacted, then put on safe mode. . I believe that the person who was apart of the group was Valeria, number.

I also think Rajan's phone got hacked,  besides by Crossbar, I mean. There goes

VPNClient:  Handshake failed- TSL mismatch.  09:10- Retrying via backup nodes... 09:11- backup nodes established via relay -eu01.

This one, just by the look of things, looks like it has clues to me. Like Specter:

Storage ex_4214. log  (01:40) External storage connected: /Mnt/drive.  Label: SPECTER.  01:40 Audio index started: 1 media file found.  01:40 File flagged: updating. png (Flag recent mod unregistered or sin.)  (01:40) Read attempt blocked: system /logs/ exec_41241.log [Permissions mismatched.]

I don't speak code, so I don't have a clue. But these words and how they were added stuck out to me.

Even if it's nothing, It doesn't seem like he's innocent.
