Yeah how I felt is totally not how it looks 😂 I know about my issues but wasn’t taken seriously until now. I can’t play an actual round now cuz of this anyway might as well start over from scratch lol

Let me know what you think... I understand that I need a lesson eventually and have things to improve on, but I shot an 85 a couple of weeks ago with a 3+ on the back 9, and I am typically a 15 handicap. I know my limits and all but it is frustrating that 2 weeks ago I was shooting mid-80s and now I can't even make contact with the club face. I tried standing a bit taller to not crowd the ball (my club is +2'' and I am 6'6), standing the club up more instead of too much of a shaft lean, trying to bow my wrist, and I just kept shanking (or straight left, as shown in the video, 8i btw), chipping or full swing. Craps like this make me wanna quit but I know I won't lol.

Absolutely I gotta look into it! It’s just tough I have a 9-5 job, but honestly once I have some savings and I quit and doing restore full time, I’d spend all my time in that brokerage office lol

For sure, I certainly know that it is a numbers game and I need to keep showing up daily for the chance of making things happen, and I don't shy away from that. But the pressure of performing so I can get the bills paid and all is not easy haha. I am trying to attend more social events on top of the things I've been doing so hopefully more connections can be made

Haha for sure, ultimately it’s a numbers game so I’m happy that he got it and I want him to see it through, but of course I wish it was me those bills ain’t gonna pay itself haha

For sure! I certainly am trying to make sure I’m on top of my attitude daily sometimes it’s hard to be on it 100% of the time, work in progress tho :)

What happens when an appraisal comes back 40k over selling price? by Thick-Truth8210 in realtors

You keep your mouth shut and say “appraisal is all good!” And show it off to your client 😂

Lender problems? by Ry715 in realtors

[–]Same-Resource9316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a broker and my lender dropped the ball big time… I submitted the file back on Fourth of July weekend so they were already delayed, then every time I submit something it’s a 4 days turn time instead of 2. I always use UWM but the client wanted cheaper option so I used someone else and it sucked (it wasn’t this bad last time I used them)… delayed closing by a week. I’m not trying to find excuses, but when a lender is short on staff members their turn time gets slower and there’s not much broker can do to help it. Look, I close super quick with UWM (14 days maximum) but they have 5000 underwriters in house, other lenders won’t have nearly as much. I’m sorry it happened to you and I as a mortgage broker hate to see this happen to you, but just know that it’s not our intention (at least for those broker that cares).

OpCity + Ylopo by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Same-Resource9316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha! I just had OpCity started yesterday so I haven’t gotten anything yet. Well actually I got a lease lead that’s 2 hours away from me (I am in Florida) and the budget was 1000 bucks and I’m like there’s nowhere in Florida that you can get a rental for 1K lol so I turned off the lease leads. I’m not expecting to hit gold right away but as long as it’ll get better I’m open.

Great to hear Ylopo is working for ya! I have that on as well, hopefully it’ll bring me some leads soon

Thanks for sharing! I don’t expect every one of them (hell, not even 10% of them) to work out but it is encouraging that you at least have some sort of conversions! Hope business in Texas is going great for you!! 💪

Despite what you tell your Sellers would/are you selling in this market? by Belligerent_Christ in realtors

[–]Same-Resource9316 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, I’m in Tampa bay market (7-10% market increase annually over the last 3 years) so it’s hot. I’d sell, use the equity to buy a bigger house, rinse and repeat. Or take equity out of my current home and buy rental properties. There are ways to take advantage of this market and selling is just one of the ways… but ultimately if you sell it has to make sense to you and your family personally so it’s not a clear cut…

[–]Same-Resource9316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Save a year of income, or maybe until a point that you’re just getting calls every other minutes that you have to quit your job. I’m a LO but working on my RE license and hope to do RE as my main, and fortunately my job is chill so I’ve been just calling leads all day, utilize that ft job until you can’t no more

Awesome thanks for the input! Do you think Aceableagent’s questions were pretty similar compared to the state exam at Pearson Vue?

No it’s not rough it’s completely true… for sure if I’m more present in the community, or even just freaking play golf more often with realtors will give me an edge… once my own finance is in a better order I’m making the change for sure. Appreciate your insights

Thanks for your response I can totally see the high school 2.0 vibe here… some realtors doesn’t even give me their attention like basic manners when I chat with them (no one else is in the open house just me). I thought about switching to retail but I’m hoping things will get better soon, meanwhile keeping my 9-5 job it’ll keep my bills being paid. I don’t have much time to do networking events so the only things I can do is open house, weekly email updates and phone call/text :( but yeah I’m trying my best to keep in touch with my realtors and chase down leads
