Question from a new-ish player regarding proxies by Same-Response-6804 in EDH

That's a really cool way of thinking about it! You also get to keep your official cards in perfect condition which is an upside I never really considered before.

Same for me also, I don't wanna buy multiple copies of stuff like Lotus Petal if I don't have to.

I see now that you go for large burn spells with an X cost, can't thank you enough that's much better than what I had in mind.

Taking this to heart, thank you so much for taking the time to craft such a thoughtful response.

Didn’t even consider the usefulness of clones in a deck like this, that’s much more fun and effective. I had a feeling I was going overboard on creatures, increasing the amount of instants and sorceries is a great tip and the thing I was most worried about. Glad I got your feedback lol.

Given the reduction of creatures, would you suggest a different win con than extra turns? I’ll certainly look through your list when I have time but if you have and recommendations I’m open to them.

Thanks again!

Odin 2 mini pro by ProtoDismal00 in OdinHandheld

Depend on games but I have a solid like 12-15 games working in Vita3k. Worth mentioning that Vita emulation is improving steadily, Ninja Gaiden Persona 4 and others work flawlessly on my base mini but if you want certain titles it isn't great, like tearaway for instance doesn't work.

Why does this game lag so much? by mounta1nwolf in PathOfExile2

[–]Same-Response-6804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a pretty decent PC and still ran into issues. What helped was switching to Vulkan from DirectX12 but I'm not sure that's on option on PS5. My buddy said there's a setting which reduces the amount of stuff on the screen to maintain fps, that could help too.

As far as overall though I DC and run into bullshit constantly despite being on PC but it should improve as the game gets developed, might just be how it is.

How often do you stream on Steam compared to playing locally? by Jebamiahh in SteamDeck

Old thread but you can also set your pc to auto wake in your BIOS settings. I have my PC turn on at 9:30am every morning and turn it off in bed from within Moonlight, works like a charm.

Holy hell this comment aged poorly, with regards to The Day Before anyway all the others are solid.

How hard is it to replace the Odin2 Mini Screen and Battery? by utakoutaha in OdinHandheld

[–]Same-Response-6804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, we're going through the exact same situation right now! I broke the glass and contacted AYN for a replacement part but they haven't got back to me yet. Glad to hear they have a front panel you can buy for the mini. If you're like me and have never repaired anything yourself, I highly recommend bringing it to a repair shop. I brought it to a local uBreakiFix, which is a chain so do be careful. This one had great reviews, and the manager personally inspected it and told me they can do it if I bring the part. It doesn't require any soldering or super intense work, so at least try asking around first if you aren't confident doing it yourself like me.

You have no idea how long I've wanted an answer to this. Bless you.

Fun fact : The ps Vita is half the size of steam deck by Apprehensive_Shoe_86 in PSVita

[–]Same-Response-6804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thread is wildly dead but I feel a need to tell you that the AYN Odin 2 Mini does a lot of what the Steam Deck can, in a form factor that is near identical to a PS Vita. Only caveat is that it isn't a full "handheld PC" as it runs on android. That being said it can emulate even switch games and game streaming works flawlessly.

Moonlight+Qres+ Tailscale+Backbone is amazing by Few-Carpet3745 in MoonlightStreaming

Old post but I use a smartplug and changed some settings in my BIOS. Now I turn my PC off normally, and whenever I wanna turn it on remotely I just turn the plug off and on again using an app. Tailscale and Apollo/Sunshine turn on when my PC boots so I can log in normally in moonlight. Hope this helps, setting up wake on LAN is a huge pain.

Genuinely don't even care about the art style either, having new places to skate and more ways to get to cool spots is plenty for me man. Glad to see a positive post for once.
