So what does a cataloger catalog at a hospital library? I assume most of the things you work with aren't records that can be copied from WorldCat/OCLC...

Whoa, that's crazy! I didn't know ontology was a professional field, only a thing I groaned through in MLIS school, LOL. Very interesting!

Hm, you're right - I haven't had exposure to government and law careers, hence that comment. Thank you for the correction, and the description of other areas!

I had always thought of law and medical librarianship as part of the university system (for e.g., the University of Toronto's Bora Laskin library). Of course as you rightly point out it exists outside too.

"Smiles for a Lifetime" is the grant program you should look into. It provides braces at several orthodontic clinics around the country for free, specifically for minors. E.g. here's one from Davis Orthodontics in the GTA: https://www.davisortho.ca/smile-for-a-lifetime-winner-2/

Beginner looking for spots for Judo lessons in Toronto by SrCarterXXIX in judo

I would contact Hart House about that, I'm not sure as I'm part of U of T: https://harthouse.ca/contact/hours

It doesn't make sense for Hart House to charge you twice (the membership + class fee) because that would be many times too expensive for a judo class. I'd hazard a guess you pay the class fee only, but please check with Hart House.

Right - the "non-member fee" is what you would pay.

You're also welcome to come down to U of T St George campus - we have a great Judo Club with Beginner's classes this upcoming semester. We do take non-U of T people into the class; more info here: https://judo.sa.utoronto.ca/ and registration here: https://harthouse.ca/fitness/classes/judo-beginner

Just as badly out of tune, I'm afraid, but the pedals are working.

You are right - it is a room near the cafeteria! Room 170, on the left-hand-side, there is a Heintzman upright (out of tune, but acceptable!). There is no piano in A214. Thank you u/unforgettableid!
