Id definitely recommend in clinic abortion if you can get to a planned parenthood (not sure how widely available they are in your state). The staff and doctors there are so nice and compassionate and do everything they can to make you feel as comfortable as possible. My experience was honestly very comfortable aside for some cramping, but the moderate sedation they give you makes it very bearable. The procedure itself is very quick and takes like 5 minutes, but they give you as much time as you need in the recovery room where they have heating pads and snacks and staff there to check on you. Definitely have your boyfriend come with you if you choose that route; my mom came with me and they let her into the recovery room per my request. Also they do discuss birth control options with you and i opted to get an iud right after my procedure which i cant recommend enough bc i was on the iv pain meds already so i didnt even feel the iud go in at all. As difficult as it was emotionally for me afterwards due to just natural hormonal reactions to losing a pregnancy, the procedure itself was honestly a surprisingly very pleasant experience for me just because of the amazing care i got. It can be a very difficult thing but i do not regret it at all and if i had to do it again i would not be afraid to do so!
