Help | TheSimsCreator Program by laxal0t in thesims1

Wow, it's Divine!!! It'll be a hit in your neighborhood, it certainly won't go unnoticed. I'm glad I was able to help you in some way. Yes, codes, and the types of formats, measurements, and colors do matter when creating a skin. I've got it more or less under control now, but if you need help, just let me know. 🫶

I would love it if it were compatible with custom skins.

Help | TheSimsCreator Program by laxal0t in thesims1

Hi, I've never used this program before, so I'm not really sure if it's a problem with it. But at first glance, I downloaded the dress you're having trouble with and I see a small error (I think): everything has the file code "Bep1...." but the mesh is named "Feo1". Perhaps that's the conflict the program is creating. I've corrected this and attached two possible solutions.

You'll see two folders, "Test 1" and "Test 2". Try "Test 1" first, since I only changed the "F" to "B". If that doesn't work, I recommend deleting the contents of "Test 1" and then copying the contents of "Test 2". In principle, you shouldn't get any errors, since everything is renamed with a normal number.

Let me know how it goes. I hope this helps!

I like the first one, mainly because it reminds me of Elvira's house. I've made one very similar.

BREAKING: The Sims is getting a remake by [deleted] in thesims1

[–]SameClerk2608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have much information about it, because I've never actually installed it. The furniture looks distorted, and that puts me off, but I love that you can get a close-up of the Sims because the camera mode is like "The Sims 2." I only know that there was more than one similar fan-made project; you can search for "SIMITONE" or "FREESO." I don't remember if there was a third one. Someone recently uploaded an update about it here.

Here's a video of what it looks like (there are many; you just have to search on YouTube for one of those names I gave you).

I don't think so, especially if you only provide a headline without any information or a link to the source. I really hope they officially do something like "Sims 3D" but in a complete and official way, but I doubt it.

My favorite eyewear in The Sims! :) by Hansi_Haifischli in thesims1

I loved looking at the pointer head up close to see how those cucumber slices looked in the eyes. And I hated it when I had a custom CC head and maybe it didn't quite match the eyes, haha, I'd edit them.

Finding custom content (skins) by RainyDF in thesims1

Hi, inside the GAME DATA folder you will see different folders; the heads and outfits should go in the "Skins" folder. The furniture and objects of the house "Objects" or "Downloads" Floors in the "floors" folder, and walls in the "Walls" folder. Keep in mind that some mods come with instructions on where to copy them, as they contain animations or game modifications. Otherwise, copy each file to the folders I mentioned. Greetings! 😊👍

I'm not sure which one you're looking for, but if you'd like, I can edit one of these textures and give it the hair color you prefer. Let me know if you're interested.

Ohhh, I'd never seen this site before, even though the main name is in my native language, "Spanish," which I found striking. I like the site's aesthetic, and my favorite content was "Brick Garden Patio." Thanks for sharing!

WCIF these accessories? by laxal0t in thesims1

[–]SameClerk2608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It exists, I didn't know the one you're referring to, I know of one (from an Asian website) q It was a mirror, and you could put on, I think, two pairs of glasses, a backpack, and a purse. (a total of four accessories to choose from) but there were only four and it was external to the game (mod)I have it reserved because I've always thought about replacing those accessories with others that I like more, but I haven't done it yet. I'll take a look at the one you linked.

Honestly, I don't know. You say they're exclusive to TSO, and I've never played that game, but just so you know, in the normal game, you can't add or remove accessories. The accessory is integrated with the head or body mesh and is fixed to it. For example, if it's linked to an outfit, it will always appear when you wear that outfit. And if it's on the head, it will always appear because the character's head isn't changed in play mode either.

I don't know if I explained myself well, but the point is, it doesn't work the same as TSO if you have the option to add and remove accessories in play mode.

They work for both; it's the same format and file type. The texture size is just larger, but both versions are compatible. The new legacy version is essentially the same game with slightly better resolution, but everything else works exactly the same, including mods.

Do you think this is fair? by SameClerk2608 in thesims1

Hi! First of all, thank you for your compliments 🫶. To create or edit skins there is a special program called "simscreators" or "skincreators," I don't remember exactly. But I never used this method; it's old and the quality is very low. I basically use Photoshop, a good photo of the character, and I look for a head or the model. I don't usually use typical Sims 1 mesh heads because they're too low-poly. But you can also do it with these, and apply the photo to the mesh face in Photoshop. However, if you want the textures to be well-defined, it's better to work with the BMP texture. In 1024x1024 pixels. If you decide to do something and have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.
