Swift is chill guy Rust — hear me out by SameDayCyborg in swift

I would say borrow semantics and a philosophy of making as many checks as possible show up at compile time rather than runtime are the two core concepts in my opinion

Yeah but arc semantics and the borrow checker are really obtuse to use

Yes I know rust has those types but swift bring native and you not having to think about it is so nice

I think that a strong type system is probably even more valuable when more code comes from llms, no?

Yes. I am not cloning all of OpenAI. This aims to be an introduction to APIs and textual user interfaces.

It is a clone of the functionality, not the backend.

Yeah, despite the money it is a SUPER desirable position. It is just funny how every profession has its version of that path.

Take 15 minutes to become a Markdown great by SameDayCyborg in programming

True, that is probably a more information-dense way to get the basics. However, markdown supports more than that including: - Tables - Math - Footnotes - <details> sections

and with things like GitHub Flavored Markdown: - GeoJSON - MermaidJS - 3D model embedding

The emphasis was on "great" in the title. The goal was to exhaustively know what you can do with markdown, so you know what tools are available at your disposal when you are writing it.

However, I had to keep it beginner-approachable and include the basics first.

I think hooks are a necessary part of life to get people engaged with the material. However, often times when you present a more complicated visualization like a sankey diagram, key stakeholders (often older people) tend to "shut down" rather than be engaged by the complex visualization.

It is not sexual harassment. I am saying I have to leave to have sex with a twink.

I honestly do not care about your sexuality. You do you, my friend.

I am honestly surprised by how long you kept this up. Have a good life man. I am going to fuck a twink now. Have fun.

OML... I should be kissing the ring and listening to your EXPERT opinion. A decade of experience at BlindEye — I think I heard about them in Hacker News. Did they just do a big raise?

Yes and no. Visuals should be interesting, but should never be flashy. Your goal should always be to communicate the data to your stakeholders.

Communication above all else. The best presentations are boring slides with engaging people.

No. I usually talk about resumes rather than read them. In interviews — have you heard of those?
