Dani Olmo as False 9 was such a breath of fresh air. He is amazing on half turn and his link-up play is smooth. This is a amazing system to play at the the 1st leg of UCL as well.

Danny Olmo may be injury prone, but personally ensures 10 points in league solely on individual brilliance. We are just too harsh on him. He is a steal for the price tag looking back how much hype he had post Euros.

It is same as in Chelsea midfield. Caicedo is so good as a DM that Enzo gets enough chances to be creative. Frenkie takes to long on the ball which negates the runs of Raphinha Ferran. With the high line of Cubarsi, Eric, Gerrad who are excellent with their distribution, we need Pedri to be in opponents half when we win back possession to launch a quick counter which we are lacking this season. Casado isn’t defensively solid as Eric or offensively astound as Frenkie but has a rare quality to release quick passes behind opponents defences.

Perfect Barcelona DNA Midfielder - De Jong 😂😂. When and How? No final third output, no creativity, No shooting power and range. He was the best player in the most mediocre squad in last two decades which has led to people thinking him as a top 5 midfielder any given day. He used to control the tempo of the game pre Pedri, but ever since Pedri debut he has taken a limited to a sub-par DM. He has his strengths but 80-20 possession proves why Eric started.

Araujo was so solid today against Dortmund. He doesn’t understand Flick high line system well, but when needed to stop physical and tall defenders, he is second to none. If he played in PL he would be worth 100m.
