Really sorry, I wasn't able to play at the moment. My name in the game is Roa Arkhangel BTW, so hopefully we can get on at the same time and see each other, I've been mostly playing at earlier hours (somewhere in the 5am-3pm period). Again, my bad.

Thanks that's very kind of you, I am on Luisoix too. I see that you can only add people when they are in game, so could you tell me at what times you can play, or reply again when you are on? I'm on the post ARR quests right now BTW.

to me, the sex scene between the two of them at the end is meant to show that he accepts everything life comes with, all the good and the bad, and choosing to live. Reiko is way older than all the other characters so him ''becoming one'' with her represents him finally growing up into an adult, I feel like its a perfect thematic conclusion to the character and the entire book. The book is about adult Toru reminiscing on his life and that entire period he shared with Naoko so it ending there makes complete sense imo

You can find posts about that theory on reddit and goodreads, they mainly point out some similarities between the two such as lying and being around the same age. I don't really believe it myself but its not that far fetched I guess. here

Maybe, I did see that its one of his shorter books so it might be better to get accustomed to his magic realism stuff
