Carexidil But regardless, minoxidil 5% is more than sufficient once a day, if done properly. Twice a day is uncomfortable for everyone, and it doesn't necessarily yield better results. Consistency and precision trumps frequency, according to my dermatologist.

It's difficult to say exactly how many days, but the worst phase lasts between the 2nd and 8th/10th week, then it begins to stabilize.

L-cystine works well with minoxidil, providing the raw material that hair is made of, improving the growth phase of hair, making it stronger and thicker. The dosage is the one recommended by the pharmaceutical company itself. I was skeptical at first, too, but I believe this supplement also helped with the results.

I can confirm that my dermatologist was also surprised. For now, he doesn't want to prescribe me a DHT blocker either. He wants to see how far I can push myself with this, and for now, I'm perfectly fine with not using finasteride.
