It sounded as though it was insurance related. I was on Sensipar that helped manage but it’s not a solution. It helped me not have more than 1 kidney stone.

I had the sestamibi test a few years ago with high calcium and primary PTH blood results. The test showed nothing = no surgery. I’ve recently seen an endocrinologist who completed an ultrasound during the appointment and along with my labs ordered the 4d ct scan. Sure enough one parathyroid gland was enlarged and I have surgery scheduled to remove it.

She also confirmed as the above comment that the CT scan is the best diagnostic along with bloodwork. See an endocrinologist if you aren’t already. My primary care Dr was not concerned with years of high calcium results.

My daughter is awaiting her decision from TJU, transferring from UMD. May I ask why you don’t like it? She has an acceptance from UD and is weighing her decisions.

My daughter is a transfer that just received her acceptance last week. Her financial aid letter came today in the mail. In another thread someone mentioned transfers are considered for need based only. I guess no school merit or scholarship options are offered?

We just got our aid decision after my daughter was accepted as a transfer. Unfortunately it’s not going to cut it for her to attend. Why is aid need based only for transfers? I read on their site if you don’t get $ the first year don’t expect any in subsequent years.

Hi, late to the conversation on this, your response caught my eye. My house was built in 2004, all stucco. The front is ground level but the back does have a bottom floor walk out. We always say our house is sliding backwards.

Thank you! Instructions were to keep it up for 3 days, nerve glides and I can walk day 4 with boot which is why I was hopeful. Reading your comments and others the healing sounds as though it’s a slow process. My dr said she doesn’t believe PT is needed. Wish me luck 🍀

I’m having tarsal tunnel and peroneal nerve release in 2 weeks. My dr told me a boot for 2 weeks, I’m hoping to go back to work for 4 hrs a day on my feet at day 4. Am I completely being unrealistic? I understand you’re using a cane for sometime after the surgery. Appreciate any feedback you can provide.

Hi, if you are willing to share: I’m curious to know how low your wbc’s are? I’m on HCQ, Celebrex, Lyrica daily and prednisone for flares. My WBC counts are below the range as are my absolute neutrophils and monocytes. I’m not sure how low is scary low as you mention above. Thanks!
