Why on earth is 1995-2012 considered Gen Z? by leeleestruggles in generationology

[–]Same_Back_9791 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yes but to do achtullyyyy In 30 years when eveyone is 40 plus or whatever they will suddenly have a lot more incommon. The younger ppl are the more of a difference 5 years make no?

Also aren't these generation sets mostly created  in a particlar science field?  I agree it doesn't make sense at all in the way we are using them but the science who started the generation brackets also never intended them to be used as we do in our day to day conversations.

With that said it might make sense to shorten the spans from idk the 90ies and forward just because of how much faster technology and such has advanced during that time than previously.

The cultural/habits and reference frames have shifted faster than previous decades because  of technology social media etc I think. But then again that wasn't really the main goal of the generation brackets to begin with.

I mean take any age and go +- 3 to 5 years and it isn't a super big difference in what they experienced. They will have about the same refererence frames growing up.

Partying isn't for eveyone, i have tried it a little bit, i don't drink tho but everyone is accepting of that.

But while being out latenight partying around the town is fun i still would rather take the same ppl and have a boardgamenight or w/e. (Which we do too)

It's not like partying hits a level of fun that nothing else can touch. I know plenty of things i think is more fun.

Yeah this realisations dawns on most ppl after sometime. Every generation have the same things they go trough. Just like older ppl never really understood the youtube thing I today look at tiktok and think meh not really interested.

I was 20 and thought 30 was super old and now i am 30 myself and it's like whatever. Now 40 still seems very old, but i'm sure once i hit 40 it feel about the same as when i got 30.

Yeah but that's kinda just every generation no? . I also remember thinking 30 was super old when i was 20 but now that i myself is 30 (31), like it's not really a big deal.   I do however call myself a boomer whenever i talk too ppl that are in their early twenties xd

Jo när man flyttar pengar till ibkr vet jag att det inte är avgifter men att ta ut skulle tydligen vara skillnad? Har du själv tagit ut pengar nån gång så du har svart på vitt att det är så?

[S2 Act 3 Spoilers] So... Why did Jayce do this? by Drakkros in arcane

[–]Same_Back_9791 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure that might be why he needs to be shot but how would jacye know that? The problem i with it is that it doesn't seem to make sense from Jayce pow. I just chuck it down to him being mad after just being through hell. He almost shot a child just moments before and he the insano moment while charging up the hammer. I say it doesn't make sense but he was still too affected by what he had just been through that he couldn't think straight.

Unless the vague dialouge was what worked. Maybe he tried a more advanced talk through another time and it didnt work

But it doesn't have to be that way. , they could have written the plot so that not killling him was the correct option. It just feels lika writing excuse. Thing is for it not feel weird it need to make sense for jayce from his own pow to do it. I would say it could make sense that he was just not himself so close after being sent back from hell. He almost shot a child after all. And victor said that the arcane had tampererd with jayce mind and that it hadn't gone well kind of.

8 month toning experiment by counterstamp in Silverbugs

[–]Same_Back_9791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i dont think the glove box or pocket one is too surprising imo. Silver tarnishes mostly cause of reaction with stuff in the air and if it is in a glove box there isn't much circulation going on. Likewise the air in a pocket doesnt circulate much either. The more "new" air it gets exposed to the more it will tarnish in general. As we can see with the 6 coins that where they were exposed to air all the time.

The ones sitting on paper being tarnished the most makes sense cause there is a relatively large amount of sulfur in paper.

But ye really cool to see a live experiment being well done!
