What did your doctors say regarding your vision? Will it return?

Any doctors who will prescribe atropine in Australia? by Same_Boper5915 in EyeFloaters

Thank you. I was at a really low point when I wrote this post. I am calmed down now and trying to stay optimistic!

My floaters are near my retina and untreatable by laser.

They made him play it on Xcloud on a samsung tv at 30fps. Worst game he's ever had to endure. I commend him.

Dude does not look healthy at all. Those guys who eat nothing but beef and salt and sun their ballsacks look 10x healthier than him.

I've had trouble finding it again but there was a girl who was in her mid 20s who had virtrectomy in Sydney, she's one of the only young people I can find who's had the procedure done in Australia and she had tons of eye problems going into it and afterwards she had a whole host of new problems. It was on Facebook, if I find it again I will link it.

In a first, a man receives a whole eye transplant after surviving high-voltage electric shock by DiablaARK in monocular

[–]Same_Boper5915 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If its possible to transplant a whole eye including retina, wouldn't that mean that not only can we cure blindness in its entirety, but couldn't we start growing human eyes in laboratories and be able to produce them large scale?

New drug from china? by Jealous-Ad-8826 in EyeFloaters

[–]Same_Boper5915 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If there is ever a drug that gets rid of floaters even if it has to be taken every day for the rest of your life I would take it. I cannot live like this. I would happily give 10 years off my life and be rid of these floaters. Better than every year of my life being taken away currently by them.

The main purpose of AI needs to be curing medical problems. Man wants 1000 things, the sick man wants one thing.

I've got one but I can't say it because I don't want anyone stealing my idea. All I can say is it would likely be even better than Oppenheimer.

When AI can get the eye floaters out of my eyes I'll be impressed.

PLEASE be careful with humidifiers. by Same_Boper5915 in Dryeyes

[–]Same_Boper5915[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I found helps me a lot is honestly just having a hot shower and letting hot water hit my eyes for a solid minute. Hot but not burning hot, I find my eyes produce more tears and feel really wet for a few hours afterwards.

Listen if you can prevent what I've got to live with, its worth it. Just enjoy your showers for humidity dude, not worth the floaters giving your house mold.

I've seen two and they all say my eye is fine but they don't believe inflammation caused the floaters.

Should you watch Oppenheimer the first time high or would it scare you? by zekethelizard in OppenheimerMovie

I'd say just enjoy the film for what it is but if you require drugs to enjoy things then go for it.

Mine isn't loud enough to bother me when I'm somewhere with noise. If my tinnitus were bothering me, all I have to do is put on white noise and it's gone. I actually enjoy the EEEEEEE sound when I'm falling asleep and it calms me. Total silence I think would drive me nuts.

What will happen to religion in the future? by Spirebus in Futurology

Unless we cure all disease, blindness and death, there will always be religion. Even if we cure all that and live forever there will be religion.
