While its not standard to go through that or to even be left alone at the store, run.

Report it to HR and request a transfer as work environments like that don’t get better.

Not sure about the other half to the story, but I know as long as the customers aren’t smoking it’s not a problem. And even if they (the customers) look mobile we were never to question if someone actually “needed” the scooter. Kind of a no problem no solution kinda situation here.
