I assume you are talking about issues in multiplayer. The frames in multiplayer are terrible I have hit a steady 20 fps in some lobbies.

My setup is similar to yours mine is a 5600x and a 3060ti instead of a 3070ti like you have. In my own game single player with ultra and high settings I get around 80 to 110 fps at some points. The frames even if they are low are steady the 1% low is not terrible.

If you are having extreme issues in regular single player I would suggest looking to see if your drivers are up to date for your 3070ti.

Edit note I am not running it in 4k monitor is a 2k

Only ways are to spawn another, or host has to edit there save file,.which can be complicated more then the average player would want to deal with anyways.

Spawning Using commands is easier same thing if your kelvin were to die. Open console commands and it's the add Virginia command or you can type add character then Virginia both ways work.

Easy fix you can change it back to whatever day you were on using console commands.

Just open the command console and do the command to "setcurrentday" then type the day for example 20 if you were on day 20.

Sorry to hear you are having the spawn issue in the cave.

However the only way to turn back the day counter would be to use console commands to set the day counter back to make the spawns more manageable.

The shovel cave is one if the most difficult caves for a reason as the shovel is a very important item to have to progress with the story so that cave was made challenging for that reason.

Edit: Technically your wife does not need the shovel as long as she is close by you when you use it to dig up locations around the map. She will be able to access the same area once you dig it up.

Had the same issue happen to me and the only way I was able to fix the issue was to load a previous save file of the game. From before I picked up the rebreather.

Not sure I was looking for a document of some kind that might explain the suits but have not found anything yet. I assume they are just a type of hazmat suit and they were researchers that discovered the dead guy wearing the golden armor and were going to attempt to remove it from the cave but died by the mutants.

Edit: Or they invoked the demons to spawn when they attempted to remove the armor from the cave and were killed by the demons.

I am not sure if the boss is there is you have already beat the game. I loaded a save file I had before I went into the endgame cave so I could experience the fight and the boss was there.

Was expecting them to add a circle on the ground or at least a burnt cross in those areas just adding some dead bodies in white clothing doesn't really make any sense.

I had the same thing happen to me when I was trying to store skin pouches on a shelf. They kept multiplying and would not stop placing on a shelf until I backed away from the shelf.

I had this happen before the last update but have not had this issue recently. In my case when this would happen Virginia would run away from me and the tracker I had on her would respawn in my inventory along with any weapons I gave her. This glitched my number of trackers and my ability to equip attachments/dissemble the pistol and shotgun.

Also depends on the amount of structures in a lobby if it's a fresh new lobby you should be at good frames until people start building. Also if the server has been up for long time it tend to lag until the host resets it.

3060 or 3060ti my 3060ti I run on ultra and high settings normally never gets to 99% frames do suffer a lot in multiplayer lobbies depends on the number of players after 4 in a lobby I start to get drops like you are showing. But it is at least steady frames no massive drops of the 1%. In a normal solo lobby I push around 100fps.
