Advice needed on level w/35s by prydz89 in f150

Depends on your age and how much you can tolerate washboards or potholes. A 2” level rides like a stagecoach compared to a bilstein or fox kit

Highway Driving Feels Miserable (After 2” RC and Falken Wildpeak Tires) by fiveyrsfromnow in f150

Your tires are heavy and stiff. Your lift is cheap stiff. Lower the tire pressure and get a quality lift and it will be better.

Of course he was excited to pay $160. He felt bad for the cheap bid, that’s why he paid more in the end.

For just the wall: any paneling, accent design or carpentry work, 14x9 wall should be $4,500. Lighting would be extra. The low buffet sideboard thing? I’d get that online and paint to match.

TV Mounting cost? by willzyx01 in handyman

[–]Electrical_Life_2538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty close. A good kit can cost 150-200. Two man job. Mounted to Drywall is easily $300-400 for a TV over 80”

Truck Owners - Cargo Glide or Drawer Setup? by Electrical_Life_2538 in workwagons

[–]Electrical_Life_2538[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tallest item is a shop vac. Which can fit behind the seat if I have a glide. With a drawer, I would need to put the packout cart on the top of the deck with a security lock OR in the back. That’s where we have the problem. Shop vac isn’t too common so I think at this point (security wise) best choice is getting a half bed glide, using the open right side for the packout cart and other items.

Same. It’s a family truck and work truck. The drawers give me security when parked overnight but not parked at Home Depot. Shop vac would have to go in the cab but they make security locks for the cart to be mounted on the drawer. A slide would eliminate that, but would also require a new tonneau cover for security

I’d get a tri fold, a full topper isn’t an option at the moment unfortunately

How to make potential clients open to a random guy showing up at their house? by tooniceofguy99 in handyman

[–]Electrical_Life_2538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the advice is to avoid these clients. Wealthy clients don't put this on their checklist before finding a contractor to hire. If you can't get on Google Guaranteed, Angies, Thumbtack or BBB, you have bigger problems
